SARAH RUGGINS HAS DONE IT.
13 days, 20 hours, 27 minutes. Covering the entire length of Europe from south to north, beating the previous overall mens record by 3 days and 32 minutes.
Sarah reached Nordkapp in Norway at 4:40am Friday 19th June after 6042km of gruelling weather, terrain and non stop effort. It's not possible to achieve this kind of feat on your own and the on site crew were there for every pedal stroke.
Sarah completed this challenge to raise money for World Bicycle Relief, in order to help mobilise communities in the most remote parts of the world, through the power of a bike. If what Sarah has done moved you, please consider donating. Sarah and the entire crew would be so grateful.
We will have more stats and info for you and what it took to break this record later, so stay tuned!
