Straight back to work after grading 🥋

Martha spent her first session as a Green Stripe learning Do San, and by the end of the class she could make it all the way through the pattern, performing it by herself! 👏

As the kids head back to school, it’s a great time to help them build confidence outside of the classroom too.

Taekwon-Do gives children a place to get active, make friends, learn new skills and grow in confidence - all while having plenty of fun along the way.

Recently, Miss Blake and Mr Holland-Bowyer went head-to-head in the Patterns semi-final at the Impact Black Belt Exhibition 🥋

After performing Ge-Baek and Kwang-Gae almost like synchronised patterns, Miss Blake edged ahead with a very close 3–2 win — and we’re very glad we weren’t the ones having to judge it 👀

The result saw Mr Holland-Bowyer take bronze, while Miss Blake went on to secure gold 🥇

Miss Blake & Mr Holland-Bowyer then went on to medal in all their events - with Mr Holland-Bowyer taking gold in sparring and the pair bringing 8 medals (2 x gold, 4 x silver and 2 x bronze) home in total! 🏆

Looking for something you can do as a family - not just for your child?

Our Teens & Adults Taekwon-Do class is a great opportunity for parents and children to train together.

Once children reach around 9, they’re very welcome to join this session - and it works especially well when training alongside a parent. You’re learning the same skills, progressing through grades together, and supporting each other week by week.

There aren’t many activities where families can genuinely grow side by side like this.

🥊 Teens & Adults Taekwon-Do (ages 9+)
🕕 Sundays, 6pm

Give your child structure, a sense of achievement, and a chance to move, focus, and reset before the week starts. 🥋

We know weekday evenings can feel hectic - homework, clubs, and everything else going on. But we also know how valuable Taekwon-Do can be, especially when it sets them up well for the week ahead.

That’s why our Sunday afternoon classes work so well.

🥋 Junior Taekwon-Do (ages 3+) — 5pm
🥊 Teen & Adult Taekwon-Do — 6pm
