* It's the complete package that makes me want to keep going with the sessions,
I love the way my body has shaped up. Still don't actually know how that happened just looked in the mirror one day when some people started mentioning it and never realised how much it had changed �. Must say its a bit addictive though. My mindset has shifted so much it's just incredible - I know it will remain a work in progress and your ability to step it up a bit each time I simply LOVE. I know I've made the massive step from controlling, moody, worrying and self pity pretty much all of the time to being far more chilled, loving life and taking responsibility for making my life the way I want it. It always makes me smile to think that you are able to teach me so much when I have many more years on you - just love that! Finally wanted to share the last compliments I've had:

* chiropractor: " very impressed how even you've managed to build up the muscles in your body. If you keep going you'll be the most muscled 90 year old �!"

Do you know this Man?

No,

Not the man in the pictures,

This man..

The Man who's lost his spark, his mojo, his confidence, his va va voom as Thierry Henry once said.

Do you know him?

He's the Man that once had an optimistic zest for life but due to a few setbacks and struggles he's lost his way,

He's lost himself.

But,

Despite that,

The Man I'm looking for is still hopeful of a better and brighter future,

He's decided that he's done with playing the victim and he's ready to reignite that spark that was once there,

And he's committed to becoming the man he's always wanted to be;

Fit, strong, healthy, confident and living life on his terms as the best version of himself.

Men, one of the best things you can do for your confidence,

Is to STOP listing to people who don't like Men,

And who complain about or who shame Men.

*note* That also might include yourself.

But thing is, the world is only a mirror anyway.

The world is only YOUR mirror, reflecting back to you how YOU'RE being to yourself,

Either consciously or unconsciously..

Few truly understand this.

But for the one's who do,

Liberation, freedom, empowerment, are the byproducts.

For the one's who don't understand and accept this truth,

A life of perpetual misery, suffering and dis-ease awaits.

The good news?

Accepting and understanding this truth is a CHOICE that everyone gets to make for themselves.

Accepting and understanding that we are all individually creating our experiences, and ultimately who and how we're being in the world, is a choice we all get to make.

So which is it?

Play victim and let the world decide who you are and how you live?

Or reclaim your power and confidence and be who you want to be and live how YOU want to live?

If it's the former, I have nothing for you and I wish you all the best (cuz you're gunna need it)

If it's the latter, but you don't know where or how to start creating yourself as the Man you really want to be in the world,

Then let's have a conversation about how you can go about doing that.

Where are my fellow Philogynists at?

We need to start creating the movement TOWARDS what we do want instead of constantly talking about and criticising what we don't.

The Manosphere talk is everywhere at the moment but it's carrying the energy of judgement and shame and hate and all that heavy dense 💩

Let's not waste our energy there. .

Instead, let's pour our energy into talking and BEING about what we DO want.

Let's talk about love, baby.

Let's talk about how amazing women are.

Let's tag men who we know are great men around women and who support women and who love and respect women.

Let's talk about it!

So,

'GET ON WITH LIVING'

That's what Dad kept saying to me in the days after he laid down his physical body last year.

He continued:

'I don't need you to feel sad for me, I don't need you to visit a tiny plot of land where my ashes are buried, I don't need you to mourn or feel any sorrow for me whatsoever. I'm happier now than I've ever been. I want that for you, too. So get on with living.'

I didn't know how I was going to feel this Friday morning on the aniversary of his transition,

So I kept it completely open.

After my usual morning practice of meditation and visualisation I heard him again...

'Get on with living.'

So that's what I'm doing.

I'm getting on with living.

And guess what...

I went and hit a huge pb at the gym.

I was only going for one or two reps at this weight, having never done it before, and still feeling a few waves of grief as I moved about the gym.

Then, before I went for it,

The very friendly young lady on the squat rack next to me, enthusiasticly and encouragingly asked if I wanted her to film it for me.

'I'd love that, thank you.'

'No worries, you've got this.'

We've NEVER chatted before.

I was going for one or two reps.

Ladies,

If you want a man to do well in life,

Drop the shaming and criticism,

Smile and encourage him.

We're that simple.

It works.

Someone once said 'You miss all the shots you don't take.'

I'm gunna add that you'll probably miss a lot of the one's you do take, too.

And, there's always that chance,

That if you keep going,

Without losing enthusiasm,

But also stop to take a breath now and again,

That at some point,

You'll make one of those shots.

So, what's stopping you taking that shot you KNOW you could be, and actually want to take next?

If it's fear that's stopping you,

Just know that if you give into it,

You'll only be feeding and ultimately strengthening that fear.

The alternative is to shoot the shot, without attachment to outcome,

And thus feeding and strengthening your courage muscle.

The good news,

You get to choose,

Fear or courage?

One of my favourite ways to warm up before ANY workout..

500m on the rowing machine,

Takes about 2 minutes,

And when I get really present to and with my body as I'm doing it,

Almost like a mediation,

I can feel every single muscle fibre warming up, firing up and ultimately getting ready for the workout ahead.

It also gets every single joint on the body mobile, loose and lubricated too.
