Tenbury vs Rifes

Rifes Travel to Tenbury in the hope of getting through to the next round.

Rifes return to league action with a big defeat on the road.

Another game of 2 halves, with a delicious Rifes crumble. Resulted in Clifton walking away with 3 points.

First half, Rifes had a goal disallowed - dubious as it was miles over the line, and couldn’t capitalise whilst on top.

Half time 0-0

Second half, Clifton turned a Rifes free kick into an attack and a long ball from the keeper fell straight to their striker who finished. It was only going one way after that.

Riflemans enter the county cup looking to get into the second round for the first time in a few years.

We travel to Studley to face Racing Club RB & Racing Club RB Bulls in a first meeting between the 2 clubs.

Rifes Exit the Bromsgrove Charity cup in the first round 😅

Good game, against a good side. However, Rifes couldn’t see our 2 goal lead come to anything and capitulated yet again… 😫

Best of luck to Stoke Prior for the rest of the season.

Defeat down Kingies.

The Rifes lads couldn’t capitalise from 2 early Griffiths goals and capitulate to concede 3 second half goals for a second defeat of the season against high flying Clifton.

In a game of 2 half’s - this time the Rifes found themselves on the wrong half.

A quick fire brace from Griffo fired Rifes into a comfortable and deserved 2-0, until Clifton Grabbed one back right on half time.

Half time 2:1

Second half, Clifton came out and Rifes couldn’t respond. 3 goals in 25 minutes put Clifton in the driving seat with 20 to go. Red card for Clifton, whose player went at the Ref smacking his card out of his hand for being told to get off the pitch. Thankfully the Ref agreed to play on, and not let one idiot ruin a good game of football.

Rifes couldn’t carve anything else and petered out to an unfortunate but ultimately deserved 4-2 defeat.

Up next - Bromsgrove cup vs Stoke Prior where we will be looking to bounce back and make it 3 wins out of 4

We’re proud of the progress Cam has made from his horrific injury and having him grace the pitch again is an amazing bonus that was at the back of our mind a few months ago! 💜💙
