I feel so honoured and grateful to have been nominated and shortlisted for the Extra Mile Award at the Students' Choice Awards 2024. It is amazing to be recognised by the students at the for the work I do with . I pride myself on putting students first and always hope that I provide the best possible support to them during their journey through higher education. I am so grateful to those that recognised and nominated me. I would like to thank the who organised these awards and thought me worthy enough to be shortlisted.

🎉New Job🎉

I am so excited for this one! I will be starting at West Bromwich Albion at the end of this month as a FULL TIME Academy Sports Therapist! This kind of role was my 5-year goal when I left University of Worcester - Sports Therapy BSc. 1 year and 9 months later, I have achieved that goal!

This past year, since the first lockdown, my career felt quite unstable and uncertain. I moved from the west mids to Hampshire to find work and Woking FC Academy provided that, along with a great deal of support. I can't thank them enough for everything and will miss the club.

However, I have come full circle, and will be heading back up to the west mids with an enormous sense of achievement and excitement!

Got my vaccination 💉 yesterday! Thank you to the for providing support with this for me and many other therapists.

When I first found out I could get the vaccine, I was a bit apprehensive. Not about taking the vaccine, but about having it before my parents and other people who are far more at risk than me. However, having spoken to family, friends and colleagues, my taking the vaccine could help to protect those around me!

The more of us who take the vaccine when the opportunity arrives, the more our society and the greater population will be protected, whether they've had the vaccine or not!
