We have a paid opportunity for three days of work next week for three local people who will be helping build the Pump Track!!

And so it begins!

We had another meeting last night (second in four weeks) with the council and the company who are in place to build the pump track and skate park. It was very positive and I hope to be able to share with you the plans we were working on last night with the design team but we're not quite there yet so hold fire a little longer as we want it to be right and backlash free - while working within budget ranges as well.

Here is an aerial view of the site where the pump track and skate park will be. Work has begun to remove the excess spoil from the previous work on the car park. First up is the skate park, followed by the pump track.

We are hoping for an early September completion for both, but this is subject to change along the way. This could be due to a number of factors, but one of our worries is people using it before it opens. It will have grass seed all around and will need a period of time to set and grow. The costs of the grass area alone were eye watering enough so we don't want to have to do it twice. If people are riding over it during this period it will only delay the opening further and cost more money, so please stay off the site until we are ready to open!

We're nearly there guys. Only taken about 6 years but were nearly there! 🤟
