The tennis club held its annual End of Season Open Doubles Tournament in wonderful conditions, with a fantastic turnout and all three grass courts in use.

This family-friendly event saw six hard-fought sets, with partners randomly selected for each round. It was an incredibly close competition, with just one game separating the eventual winner, Ian Reed, from runners-up Magda Kuprewicz and Oscar Marshall.

Congratulations to Ian on a fantastic performance, and well done to Magda and Oscar. A great way to round off the season!

What a team! 💪🎾Our fabulous Ladies B team have smashed it this season and are officially the Division Five winners! Having finished their season UNBEATEN 🥇

Plenty of tennis, teamwork, laughs, and a whole lot of determination got them over the finish line!

It’s been a beautiful week down here on the courts at DLTC…Did you know we offer beginners and back to tennis sessions? So if you have never tried tennis or think you could be the next Arthur Fery or Coco Gauff. Maybe you just haven’t played for a while and want to come down and get back into playing this wonderful game then drop us a message. We run these sessions every Monday evening. A glorious morning for social tennis on our excellent grass courts. A very enjoyable time was had by all. 🎾👟🌞🕶️😁

We’re welcoming all new members or anyone who wants to come along and have a go before deciding to become a member - introductory/beginners sessions are held on Mondays at 6.30pm .

Social tennis sessions on weekends and as people are available (weather dependent- pls check in advance)
