We have a variety of classes available including group training,triathlon training sessions with James, Move it n lose it Bodybootcamp with Katherine and Pilates with Dianne Gunson.

Wednesday Night “Powerfit” 🥵

Wow! Just how hard did this awesome team of people work tonight? 50 minutes and no rest. It was “active rest” in Katy’s Circuits this morning and so it was in Powerfit tonight.

Spurred on by DJ Lil’s fantastic England inspired playlist. We set about 15 Stations! 30 seconds per station. No rest! Just 30 seconds of running after each station in Circuit 1 and 5 Burpees after every station in Circuit 2. That’s 75 Burpees! If you did them all 🥴

Great job all you. Proud of all of your efforts and determination to battle through.

The World Cup's got everyone fired up about football right now.

But the players you're watching... the goals, the speed, the stamina in the 90th minute. That's not just talent. That's hard work. Hours in the gym, building the foundation that makes everything else possible.

Legs, Bums & Tums.

Katy was testing the Ladies this morning! A Strength Session lots of Squats and Arm Exercises. Everyone had to and they did work incredibly hard.

By way of reward they finished off with some relaxing Stretches.

Early Morning Circuits.

Wow! That was an awesome start to our day! Tanya said “she felt like she had been through a thunderstorm” we were sweating that much!!

The room was laid out with cones in a circle! Katy was stood in the middle instructing! We were running around the circle of cones. First one way! Then the other! Very occasionally stopping to do an exercise! For 10 minutes! And that was the warm up.

Then 3 Circuits! 8 Exercises! 3 Circuits! 1st circuit 30 seconds! 2nd circuit 40 seconds and the 3rd circuit 50 seconds! With 30 seconds “Active Rest” now this is were it gets interesting! Circuit 1 we ran between each exercise!

The second circuit we did 5 Burpees between each exercise in the 30 seconds! And one of the stations was Burpees! Then for the 3rd circuit we alternated between squat thrusts and high knees!!

Welcome to Wednesday. But, seriously it was awful! It was tough! But what an amazing positive way to start the day. The older I get! The dafter I may have become! But moving first thing is such a powerful and uplifting start to your day! Try it. And see 🥵

Tuesday Night Circuits!

We went back in time! A circuit from 2 years ago! And these Superstars smashed it.

15 Exercises! 5 Legs! 5 Upper Body and 5 Core! 30 seconds per exercise! Then 400 metres Cardio! Straight to Circuit 2! 10 1 minute blocks! 2 Exercises per minute! Sometimes 1 exercise! Yes we did a minute of Burpees! Then 400 metres Cardio! Straight back to Circuit 2!!

Great job Team. See you for Katy’s Circuits at 6.45am tomorrow or Powerfit at 7pm. Sorry no Metabolic and Agility at 6pm.

Karan’s Strength Class!

Whilst Karan enjoys a well earned break! James was at the helm this evening. And he certainly tested everyone! Not least himself 🥴

Circuit 1. 5 exercises! 30 seconds per exercise! No rest! 5 times through. Straight into Circuit 2! 8 exercises! 30 seconds per exercise! 10 seconds rest! 3 times through.

And then Circuit 3. Same as Circuit 1 but 5 different exercises! The thinking was to test strength but a lot of tonight was fitness!

Welcome Kerry & Ade! You were both amazing and so were the rest of you! Who gave it everything. Well done 👏

Here's what no one explains about strength training: it's not about how you look. It's about everything else.

Carrying shopping without it wrecking your back. Getting up off the floor without thinking about it. Keeping up with your kids, your dog, your job, your life.
