Wilne 10k The annual Wilne 10k road race takes place on the first Sunday in September at 10am. For further information, please visit www.wilne.co.uk

The scenic, flat, traffic-free road route is open to all abilities and is an excellent course for people looking to complete an easy flat 10k or for the runner who is chasing a personal best time. Race Features: Chip timing and results service, all finishers receive a technical event t-shirt, extensive individual prize list plus team prizes, ample free car parking, toilets & refreshments.

This year, the Wilne 10k and Derby 10 Mile have proudly chosen Treetops Hospice as their official charity partner, inspired by the care given to Connell McNelis, a close friend of Race Director Richard Kay.

Richard shared that choosing Treetops felt “natural” after witnessing the compassion shown to Connell, his wife Nina and their daughter Carmella throughout his long illness and after following his death last year.

As part of this partnership, both events have generously donated a limited number of highly discounted charity places for runners supporting Treetops.

We have just 10 places available and we’d love to cheer you on as you take on this challenge for your local hospice.

By running for Treetops, you’ll be helping us provide expert hospice care and emotional support for adults with life-limiting conditions, people who are bereaved and their families across our community.
