Sunday 10th May 2026 Draycott Victoria were at home to Buxton Ladies FC Which for both teams will be their last game of this season, this was their 3rd fixture in 7 days.
Buxton were up for the challenge and scored 2 goals in the 1st half in quick succession by their No 16 Rebecca Hill, there 3rd goal was an own goal scored by the Draycott defender Deb West after the Ball hit the top of her boot to fly over Goalkeeper Nat Luffers head.

Draycott were beginning to put a string of passes together and Jodie Smith, caught the Buxton defence napping and slotted past the Buxton Keeper, after a great run from Rachel Mee in Midfield to provide the perfect pass for Jodie to latch onto.

Then our leading goal scorer Lucy Ferris decided to go on a run and after a great ball From Lynn to Rachel Mee to beat a Buxton Midfield player and in her usual Manner she Lucy dribbled past 2 Buxton players and scored a lovely goal by lobbing the Buxton Keeper, but it was to little to late as the game was nullified by Buxton for them to hang on for the win 2-3

Draycott finished in 5th Place as it stands this season so half way in the league.

Wednesday 6th May 2026 Draycott Victoria were at home to Pride Park Ladies FC due to previous fixture being played at Pride Park due to when Draycotts home fixture was water logged.

This game started well for both teams where there were chances for both teams and a few free kicks for silly things happening in the game with pushes in players backs but nothing too serious as the referee was picking up these incidents.

Pride park were the 1st to score with a goal from Summer Evans after a pass out of the Draycott area went a stray and Summer slotted past Nat Loughenbury 0-1 to Pride Park Ladies at Halftime.

Draycott came out fighting in the 2nd half and Rachel Mee dribbled past a Pride midfielder, to find Tabby running up the right wing, she laid off the perfect pass onto the run of Lucy Ferris to score past the Pride Park Keeper Jade Howell, to make the score 1-1.

From then on both teams were going at it for the winning goal, but it was Sarah Upton for Draycott who hit the Pride Park cross bar, but the bounce out from the goal fell to a Pride Park midfield player.

Then in an incident late into the 2nd half where the Draycott player Olivia Drury was tripped by accident and was not moving to get up off the pitch, the players seemed to stop playing as they expected the referee to blow his whistle for a Foul, but the ball fell to Rachel Weaver on 81mins, to slot past Draycotts Keeper Nat Loughenbury, but despite protests from the Draycott Lino and our Captain, Pride had sealed there win. 1-2 to Pride Park.

It was a good game other than a few stop start incidents and Draycott played really well saying that they only had 11 players compared to Pride Parks 14 Players? but this is what happens on midweek fixtures players struggle to get to matches due to finishing late at work or rush hour traffic and then pick up further injuries as not having enough time of a decent warm up.

All in all though a great game by both teams and a good advert for the Women's Game.
The Next Game will be at our home Ground on Sunday the 10th May Kick off 13:30pm Draycott Versus Buxton FC Women.

Sunday 3rd May 2026 Draycott Victoria were at home to Chesterfield FC Development Women, Venue Gertrude Road, Draycott, Derbyshire. DE72 3NW Kick off 13:30pm

This game started off on a front footing for Chesterfield Development, Draycott knew they were up against a very young side, so it was Experience up against speed and agility, Indeed Chesterfield scored early 0n 23min by No11 Riya Dhillion, another 2 mins later and it was Cerys Brooks who out witted the Draycott defence, then on 25 mins Jo Campbell pushed on from midfield to score a lovely goal, with an assist from Farrah O Connor.

Chesterfield were on the hunt for more goals and indeed Draycott did succumb to 2 more goals with one on 38 mins and the other on 42 mins to make the score 1-5 in favor of the Chesterfield Girls.

After halftime Riya and Cerys were at it again getting for Chesterfield who scored a goal each, a consolation goal for Draycott was scored by Lynn Lambert Thompson to make the final score 2-7 to our visitors, who put on a blistering attack on the Draycott Team, and were outstanding for the best part of the 1st half pe***ng Draycott in their own half.

26TH April 2026 Matlock Town Ladies Vs Draycott Victoria LFC, Kick off 13:30pm- venue: Highfields Upper School, Lumsdale, Matlock, Derbyshire. DE4 5NA
This was always going to be an uphill match as Draycott was a bit short on numbers 12 Players available, due to Injuries and holidays, where as Matlock had 16 Players available at their disposal.
The game started off on a quick footing buy both teams, But it was Tabby who unlocked the Matlock midfield and played a lovely ball to Sarah Upton, who put Lucy Ferris on for a shot on goal to beat Jemma Hill (Matlock Keeper) with a great ball to bulge the back of the Net. 0-1
Indeed Jemma Hill (Matlock Keeper) was on form when Draycott was awarded a penalty, and Hannah Bloomfield steps up and a fantastic shot was stopped when Jemma Guessed the right way that Hannah took her shot, so a Big pat on the Keepers back, as she proved difficult to beat.

Matlock were always on the hunt to pick up any loose balls that Draycott let go, from then on both teams were trying to get the winning goal, but the game was stop start for both teams, thanks to the referee though who allowed drinks breaks today as it was well received when the Big Yellow thing in the Sky was shinning down on the pitch.

The game finished 0-1 to Draycott Victoria as both teams literally cancelled each other out, after some great defending from the Draycott defence, next week Sunday the 3rd May Draycott are at home to Chesterfield FC Development Women, Venue Gertrude Road, Draycott, Derbyshire. DE72 3NW Kick off 13:30pm

Duffield Dynamo Vs Draycott Victoria LFC
19April 2026 Venue Eyes Meadow, Duffield
kick off 13:30pm
This match started off on a good footing for Draycott Victoria and an early Goal on 3 mins from Lucy Ferris it was well worked and the run in on goal was sublime. 0-1
Duffield then went on a run and a lovely through ball to Lucy Cunningham from the left wing saw her volley keeper Jo Campbell who was unlucky not to save the shot. 1-1
Draycott players were made to work hard and the break through came for Faz (Farrah O Connor) who battled well and caught the keeper wrong footed to slot the ball home 1-2
Lucy Ferris was also doing her work hard Ethic for the Draycott Girls and proved she had it in her to score another goal, just before halftime to make the score 1-3.
After the break Duffield came out fighting after they changed format from the original 2 wide players, Pat quickly recognised this and went with 5 players across the midfield to counter Duffields more central role.
The game then became more of a 50-50% game, but it was Sarah Upton who mopped up a lovely through ball pass by the Draycott midfield to send the score to 1-4
Jo Campbell had swopped her goal keeper position at Half time with Nat Loughenbury and it seemed to strengthen the squad as she had shown some lovely dribbling and battling skills to force her way past the Duffield Defence to make the final score 1-5.
Duffield never gave up in this fixture which was nice to see, as they will gain experience as they progress for a young team.
Next Week 26th April 2026 Draycott will be away to Matlock Town Ladies FC Venue : High Fields Upper School -Lumsdale, Matlock, Derbyshire. DE4 5NA

12TH April 2026 Plate Final -Write Up Below
Belper Town Development Vs Draycott Victoria LFC
Venue Matlock Town Ground.
Well within the 1st -15mins both teams had chances to score the vital goal but it was Hannah Bloomfield who opened the score for Draycott after a scramble on the goal line from a shot from Lucy Ferris which hit the cross bar to allow Hannah to mop up the bounce to slot home. 0-1
Then Rachel Mee on 26 mins who was determined to get on the end of a pass and lob the keeper, who was making some great saves. 0-2
Rachel was now in the mood to try and score again which she did on 37 mins after a lovely pass from Lucy Ferris. 0-3
Hannah again was in a mood not to be outdone, and came up trumps with a killer blow to score on 43 mins. 0-4
Lucy Ferris who had made some great individual runs in the game after just a 1min made a great run into space to score a lovely goal on 44mins to go in at half-time 0-5.

Belper Development players had some great chances in the 1st half to score, but the Draycott Defence were resilient in keeping them out, though Jess Burke was keeping us on our toes.

The 2nd half started how the 1st half ended with Draycott on the attack, and after 7mins Farrah O Connor had a great shot on goal which caught out the Belper Town Keeper 0-6

The game was already won as far as Draycott were concerned and a Late goal from Jo Campbell who had a brilliant game sealed the 7nil victory.
The score line did not reflect how the Belper Town Development players played this match, who gave everything to try to pull back the score line and, apart from a yellow card they picked up for dangerous play, Belper had chances in this game, but Rachel Mee was left with a Gash in her left leg due to a poorly timed tackle, all in all a good day at the office by all of the Draycott Players and they deserved their win, but now is the time to concentrate on the last few league matches on the run in to complete their fixtures.
