Last Saturday, we celebrated 50 amazing years of soaring at our Gliding Club – and what a day it was!

Despite a rainy start , the skies cleared up just in time for a fantastic Friends & Family Day filled with glider and motor glider flights, laughter, and great company. 🚀🌤️

Thank you to everyone who joined us – members past and present, families, friends, and curious first-timers. Your energy made the day unforgettable! 🙌

Also huge thank you to all of our amazing members who made the day run so smoothly – from the ground crew to the BBQ grill and cake table, your effort and dedication made the day possible ! 🍔🧁👏

Huge congratulations to Tom on achieving his first solo flight at 14 years old—what an unforgettable milestone! And hats off to Ed (15 years old!)for successfully converting to our K-8 single seat glider, a fantastic step forward in his gliding journey.
