Always good to hear of the enjoyment your rider has had out on track during the race.
Alexander certainly enjoyed his battle with these three riders in the
Supertwin/Production twin class, Race 2 yesterday at Kirkistown.
Many passes were exchanged at colonial 1 and the hairpin and compliments exchanged post race on the good clean passes executed. The way it should be.

RACE REPORT: (Kirkistown)
RD3 of the Ulster Superbike Championship

Thank you to the members of the Belfast and District Motor Club Limited and the M.C.U.I - U.C Marshals Association for putting on a successful days racing for all.

RESULTS PRODUCTION TWIN:
(McKillop Motorcycles and Race Support ER6)
Qualified - P1 Best Laptime 1:08.197 (wet)

Race 1 - P1 Best Laptime 1:06.460 (wet)

Race 2 - P1 Best Laptime 1:03.089 (dry)

Another good day on board the ER6 twin. Pleased to be able to take maximum points on a day where the weather was mixed and Stephen Mckeown certainly applied some pressure in both wet and dry conditions to keep me on my toes.

PRE-INJECTION 600 (McKillop Kawasaki)

Qualified - P5 Best Laptime 1:07.364 (wet)

Race1 - DNF Best Laptime 1:02.379 (dry)

Race - DNF Best Laptime 1:01.323 (dry)

Pulled the 600 pre-inj machine out of storage to have a run out with Conor and the other lads. We encountered an issue with the battery which wouldn’t do full race distance before the bike started missing and losing power. So two non finishes in this class but still some enjoyable track time.

Thank you to Ivan, Jimmy, Michael and all of the fabulous sponsors that help keep me going in the right direction each race meeting. 😍

We have another wet and miserable day today at the Isle of Man TT Races with yet another day of no racing πŸ˜”

As tomorrow's weather looks the best day ahead, we have everything crossed that the schedule and racing will go ahead. It will be an incredibly busy day for Jack and the team, but a good one for racing as long as the sun makes an appearance!

STATEMENT-(well actually it’s my DA’s statement, because at 18 I haven’t acquired a qualification in politics and diplomacy yet).

1. As stated in the below post we are withdrawing the McKillop Motorcycles and Race Support GSXR750 SUZUKI from the Ulster Superbike pro class for the remainder of the 2026 season.
2. It was my plan to race the GSXR750 in the USBK Superbike cup class (for rookies) for the 2026 season, very much as a rider developement year.
3. In March however the USBK tarmac committee decided that I would not be allowed to take part in the Cup/Rookies class, but would instead be made to go directly to the Superbike Pro class(with zero previous Superbike experience).
4. I/We have appealed this decision on 3 occasions. Receiving the same reply 3 times.
That is (OUR ORIGINAL DECISION STANDS).
No further explanation of the logic behind it.

MOVING FORWARD: (2026)
1: I intend to continue in the Ulster championship contesting the Production Twin Class for Mckillop Motorcycles and Race Support.
2: I will continue to take part in the Principal Insurance Masters Superbike Championship (At Mondello Park).
Competing in both Superbike Cup and Production twins on Ivan’s 2 bikes.

I am as ever greatful for all of the backing and support given by my fantastic personal sponsors and to Ivan McKillop for stepping in to help in my rider development at a time when it was much needed and appreciated. 😘

A couple of pics of me on the McKillop Motorcycles and Race Support GSXR750 Suzuki entering turn 3 at Mondello Park during the 3rd of three Superbike Cup races at the weekend. Out on my own and went on to win the race.
I wasn't so lucky in race 2 earlier that morning, when I had to lay the big 750 down on the grass at this very corner, when leading on lap 1. After saving a big rear wheel slide, I ran out of road and took to the grass where I had to gracefully lay it down. Anyway, with little harm done, I regrouped and finished the weekend with a win on Ivan's 750 Suzuki. 😁

RACE REPORT - (MONDELLO PARK)
Principal Insurance Masters Superbike Championship Round 2 - 16/17 May.

A very difficult weekend for the organisers with the weather not knowing what it wanted to do from one hour to the next.
However the Mondello Park team did a fantastic job, getting all races on the schedule completed.

PRODUCTION TWIN CLASS - ER650

Qualifing - (wet) P4.

Race 1 - (wet) P4.

Race 2 - (wet to dry) P3.

Race 3 - (wet) P3.

Hadn't got the pace to trouble the leaders this weekend. Tyre selection was difficult at all times with the crazy weather. In the wet I couldn't get the power on when I wanted to, maybe I need weight ballast over the back wheel. Being small has it's difficulties. 😁

SUPERBIKE CUP CLASS - GSXR 750

Qualifing (wet) P8.

Race 1 - P2 (wet) Had to start from pit lane for the warm up laps and then the back row of the 25 bike grid in the race. Picked my way through in the wet to finish P4 on the road but P2 in the Superbike Cup class.
Tricky conditions but very much fun.

Race 2 - DNF (Dry) Having went quickest in Sunday morning warm up and now starting P3 on front row I was feeling good.
That didn't last long though as I took the lead into turn 1 but unfortunately crashed out of the lead at turn 3 on lap 1 when the rear stepped out on corner entry. I didn't go down at that point but stood the bike up to save it, had to run on to the grass and at that point had to lay it down. These things happen. 😁

Race 3 - P1 (Damp track, drying line) Starting from P9 and determined to make up for my earlier mistake. I got off to a great start and led across the line at end of lap 1. I increased the lead lap by lap and brought it home for the win and the best possible end to a challenging weekend.

BIG BIG thanks to Aaron & Dad for their commitment and time in getting me there and providing me with a machine to be able to challenge for podiums and wins.
(On a wet and changeable weekend the work for them is pretty full on changing wheels and set up).

A HUGE thank you to Ivan McKillop at McKillop Motorcycles and Race Support and all his backers for entrusting me with the job of piloting the big orange and blue machines each weekend. It is really great to have your support. πŸ‘Œ

To all my personal sponsors a really MASSIVE THANK YOU and hope you are enjoying the ride as much as I am. 😍

Thank you Matt/Jeanette and all your team at Kirkistown Trackdays for laying on yet another excellent track day today.
Continuing the process of settling in to the McKillop Motorcycles and Race Support GSXR 750 SUZUKI. Making good progress every time out with my riding style and understanding how this machine needs to be ridden. Also getting the set up closer to what suits me.
Thanks to everyone who supports us in the pursuit of our goals.
