A huge welcome to all our returning and new members of Down Netball Club for the 2026/27 season! 🎉

It’s fantastic to see the club at FULL capacity across all our junior age groups — a brilliant reflection of the continued growth and popularity of netball in our club and community. 🙌🏐

We can’t wait to get everyone back on court and kick off another exciting season!

We’d like to say a huge thank you to everyone who completed our new joiners form for the upcoming season. We have been absolutely overwhelmed by the incredible response and are so grateful for the interest in becoming part of Down Netball Club.

Our committee is currently reviewing all applications, and successful applicants will be contacted via email by the end of the week.

Congratulations to our Under 16 stars Aoife and Lily, who recently won their Netball All Star Finals heat! 🏆

Their fantastic performance has earned them a place in the Home Nations Cup, where they will travel to Birmingham this July to represent Northern Ireland. 🇬🇧🇮🇪

What an incredible achievement – we are so proud of you both and wish you the very best of luck as you take on the Home Nations! 💪🍀

Who knew all those “we’re only here for the craic” sessions would end with an actual trophy? 😂

Proof that social netball is not just about the chats, the laughs, and deciding where to go for social refreshments😉… it’s also about winning! 💪🏐
