Netball Northern Ireland is now welcoming Expressions of Interest for the U17, U19 & U21 National Academy for the 2026/27 season. 🌟

This is an exciting opportunity for athletes looking to develop within the Netball NI performance pathway and continue their journey towards future international competition. 💪

🏐 Annual Primary Tournament🏐
Despite the clouds trying to dampen the mood, our Annual Primary Netball Tournament was a massive success! We were blown away by the talent on display from 70 P7 players and 52 P5/6 players. The future of local netball is looking very bright!

Here are the results from a fantastic day of competition.
🏆 The Results 🏆

P7 Section
After some incredibly tight matches, Ardglass and Saul finished on identical points and scores! Due to the worsening weather, we were unable to hold a playoff, so both teams have sportingly agreed to be crowned Joint Winners. A huge congratulations to both squads!

P5/6 Section
• Winners: Our Lady and St Patrick’s
• Runners-up: Downpatrick Primary

🌟 Individual Standouts 🌟
Our coaches and umpires had a tough time choosing, but a special shoutout goes to our individual award winners:
• P7 Most Promising Player: Isla (St Nicolas’ Ardglass)
• P5/6 Most Promising Players: Kaylee (Downpatrick Primary) & Katie (Our Lady and St Patrick’s)
• P5/6 Overall Player of the Tournament: Emily (St. Brigid’s)

A massive thank you to RGU for the hire of their fantastic outdoor courts. Without the support of our local community partners, days like this wouldn't be possible.

A huge thank you to our club committee for the tireless work behind the scenes—from umpiring and scoring to keeping us on schedule and providing much-needed refreshments to keep everyone going!

Thank you to all the players and teachers, and who braved the elements to support the girls.

Molly took part as part of the Saul G4MO relay team, helping to raise vital funds for SANDS – an incredible cause. We’re all so proud of your achievement and the effort you put in both on and off the course. 💙

A fantastic finish to the season for Down U14 3’s at the Lisburn Racquets finale tournament 👏

The girls put in a brilliant performance throughout the day, losing just one match to secure their place in the semi-final. It was a nail-biter, but they narrowly missed out by one goal to Laganside 1, who then went on to win the tournament. Congratulations.

A huge achievement for the U14 team as they were presented with their cup and medals as Area C Lisburn League winners. 🏆 An achievement of a season of hard work.
Well done to Rosie Morgan being selected as Player of The Tournament.

Thank you to our umpire Oonagh, senior coach Kerry for the support, and all the parents who travelled and cheered the girls on.

A special thanks to Dawn and Laganside for hosting and organising a great day 🙌
