Tonight we are attending The Kent care awards 2026 ⭐️

We forgot to officially put it on the calendar for today but once a monh now we have started a knitting/crochet group! I took a backseat and let Mary lead the way in teaching us 'how to' it was a really lovely morning and everyone really enjoyed themselves 😍

We had a lovely morning of bingo today, the residence told me all about the donkey that visited yesterday and how they loved the fact he drank tea. Good music while we played. Our winners today were - Lines - Vera, Pamela x 2 & Barb.

Wow, Wow, Wow! What an absolutely amazing morning we've had at laureston today 😍 May we introduce Banks the therapy donkey!! 🫏 Banks came to visit today and just wow! Everybody was blown away! We had lots of shocked faces, happy tears, cuddles, strokes and rides! Our Pam really wanted to get up for a ride but we just couldnt get her to reach, but she enjoyed lots of cuddles! He was a very happy donkey being fed treats by everyone and even enjoyed his own cup of tea! ☕️ what an amazing morning we all had, and we cant wait to see him again next month!!!!

Board games morning! So given the choice John and Mary chose to play scrabble! We had vera behind us giving hints and tips, Colin came to have a look at whats going on to see if he could help too. What a lovely way to spend a rainy dark morning - John.
