What an amazing few months at DRR… From ultras, to marathons, triathlons, Parkrun both near & far, marshalling duties, Endure, 10k races, half marathons, relays, club runs and everything in between.

It’s been an epic few months with so many incredible achievements, PBs galore.

Wishing our amazing pocket rocket Jo all the luck in the world today as she represents England in the 10k England Athletics Masters race at Bideford in Devon.

It hasn’t been an easy few months with injury but we at Dover Road Runners are super proud of you Jo.

We’re proud to be joining next week for Mental Health Awareness Week with England Athletics and Mind.
Small actions matter — moving together, talking together and supporting mental wellbeing. On Thursday 14th May, We will be meeting at Costa Coffee at St James at 6pm, where we will head off for a run and enjoy a coffee on our return. It’s a great way to exercise both your body and mind 🖤🤍

As part of their ongoing commitment to their Corporate Social Responsibility policy, Coyle Rail are sponsoring us, Dover Road Runners, to take part in a series of local running events.

This sponsorship means that any member representing Dover Road Runners in this series of events, are able to complete their first run for free, normal cost is £3 per runner per race.

Dover Road Runners are an organisation that brings together people of different backgrounds and running abilities to support and encourage exercise and fitness, for the benefit of wellbeing.

Coyle Rail is a recruitment and subcontracting business supplying specific technical skills to the railway industry, based across the UK, but with a branch in the East Kent Area.

The Eask Kent Summer Relays is an event that encompasses 13 local running clubs, to compete against each other, at various locations across East Kent throughout the Spring and Summer.
Annual participation is always near 500 runners at each event held fortnightly on a Tuesday evening.
