The seventh week of 2026/27 Season Three was played last night with a great turnout of 21 players, including one new player. Registration for Tuesday 8th September will open at 9am on Monday 7th September. I know it is not always possible but please do try to let me know you are coming as early as you can so as to avoid delays on the night. Please also let me know if you then are unable to make it, again, as early as you can.

We didn't see the glut of big hands we've become accustomed to in recent weeks, but as with last week there were a number of sickening runouts. Again we had a fast-paced game and an early finish, as Mark Smith claimed his first win of the season, congratulations.

The sixth week of 2026/27 Season Three was played last night with a great turnout of 23 players, including two new players.

Registration for Tuesday 1st September will open at 9am on Monday 31st August. I know it is not always possible but please do try to let me know you are coming as early as you can so as to avoid delays on the night. Please also let me know if you then are unable to make it, again, as early as you can.

After the big hands of the last two weeks this week was the week of runner runner suckouts as time and again we saw hands that would have conspiracy theorists wailing about the game being rigged if they had been seen online. It even happened twice in a few hands for Peter Ho**er, both times against Harrison Rose, who held KK on both occasions, ouch!

As with last week despite the higher number of players we saw a very fast-paced game, again with an early final table and an early finish to the night, as John Hudson claimed his first win of the season, congratulations.

Congratulations and commiserations to Brian Saunders for coming second in yesterday’s Redtooth Poker London Two Regional Final. This was Brian’s second second place finish in a row, and means that in the last four London Two Regionals our Club has had:

4th place
1st, 2nd and 3rd places
2nd place
2nd place

This is a superb run of results! It shows not only the quality of players we have but also that playing here sets our players up for good runs in the Finals 😀
