Big scoring game at Tilmanstone this morning with Phoenix running out 8-3 winners over Samphire Cargo this morning.
Goals shared pretty equally amongst Phoenix players Including Macca Bax, Alex Short, James Whittle, Owen Thomas, Liam McGuire, Lewis Prescott and 2 goals from Ryan Prescott.

Cargo goals Bill Glover, Liam Heafey and Liam Welsh.

Technically 2nd place is still available but will need wins against both Division 1 chmapions Snowdown and at Hillborough next week.

Much quieter weekend this for all after last 2 weekends successful final days..

Duke of York's is still under maintenance for the start of next season so Tilmanstone is the home game for Samphire Cargo V Pheonix fc

Second place in Division 1 is still mathematically possible for Samphire, which will be a fine season following relegation last year but do play a strong Pheonix side who will be looking to finish the season well.

Worth the stress? - absolutely..

Despite not the weather we all wanted but it did remain dry throughout both days over in Folkestone to bring lots of families together and joining in the celebrations for our districts Sunday football league showcase.

Thank you to Maxwell Mortgage Services for your sponsorship and to JS Graphics for the wonderful help and ideas with all the social media posts before and after finals day.

Thank you to Charlie at Folkestone Invicta Football Club for having us again and to Mary for keeping us all safe.
