Unfortunately the weather has finally turned and we will have to cancel this morning's Youth Sessions. It is too slippery underfoot.

Here is a list of Junior games for the rest of the season. They are all played on Sundays and start at 9:30 and finish between 11:00 and midday. We hope to get some other friendlees on Saturday afternoons. 17/05 (a) v Folkestone, 07/06 (a) v Hythe, 14/06 (h) v Sibton Park, 21/06 (h) v Folkestone, 28/06 (h) v Hythe, 05/07 (a) v Sibton Park, 12/07 (a) v Folkestone and 19/07 (a) v Hythe. Dates are subject to change depending on weather etc. For the away matches we will meet at the Green in Shepherdswell.

Shepherdswell CC U11's played their first game today and performed very well. Although they lost by 39 runs there was some fantastic play by the players. Highlights were the bowling figures of 2-14 from Hope and 1-13 from Jacob. Everyone scored runs with bat and thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Big thank you to our hosts Sibton Park CC who bent over backwards to ensure we had a great time. Next week we are away at Folkestone.

Hard ball nets this afternoon is off. Remember this Saturday is the Youth Presentation as well as Coaching. There will be no BBQ or cakes this weekend but we might have one nearer the end of August for everyone.

We held off as long as possible but it is raining again at the Rec with the pitch being very slippery. We have decided to cancel today's Youth Coaching Session. Next Saturday we will be holding our BBQ and presentation. We will be looking to try and extend into August if there is enough who can attend.

Although the Village Fun Run is on this Saturday morning, we will still be holding the Youth Coaching at our usual times. See you all there.
