As a volunteer-run club we spent time trying to get Charlie Elphicke, our local MP, to visit us at training or a game to see what we were doing in the community.

He was always too busy.

But we are glad he didn't come.

Dover and Deal definitely deserve better.

Charlie Elphicke, the ex-Tory MP for Dover, was convicted of s*xually assaulting two women.
