Genryukan Aikido

Genryukan Aikido Genryukan Aikido in Dover, Kent is a non-profit martial arts club. The club coaches are Christophe Courtin, Phil Eyers, Tom Davey and Tony Dowling.

The Genryukan, which translated means "practical flow", is located in Dover, Kent. It was founded by Christophe Courtin and Phil Eyers with the help of James Dempster from Gowaryu Aikido. Genryukan Aikido is a member of the British Aikido Association. The club is totally non-commercial. All fees goes toward the running of the club, and the instructors receive no payment, preferring to practice and

teach for love of the art. The coaches are Christophe Courtin, Phil Eyers, Tom Davey and Tony Dowling. All of the coaches are nationally qualified to teach Aikido and hold public liability insurance.

I regret to inform you that we are shutting down Genryukan Aikido effective immediately.
After over 13 years, this adventure is coming to an end.
I'd like to give a big thank you to everybody who passed through the door and played with us over the years.

Late picture of last week training, but better late than never, especially with a handsome (and modest) bunch like this one!
Training every Mondays, 7:30pm to 9:30pm.
Beginners are always welcome, no matter your age, gender, fitness level or ability.
Come and train in an environment where you can enjoy yourself and progress at your own pace and within their your capabilities and limitations. Train seriously, have fun doing so.
