Virtus Gymnastics

Virtus Gymnastics A gymnastics club passionate about gymnastics with a dedicated team of experienced coaches behind it to achieve the best out of all our members.

Why choose Virtus Gymnastics? Virtus used to be a specific virtue in Roman times but eventually it grew to describe a range of virtues:
Wisdom including creativity, curiosity, judgement, love of learning and perspective. Courage including bravery, persistence, honesty and zest. Humanity including kindness and social intelligence. Transcendence including gratitude, hope, humour, spirituality and ap

preciation of beauty. Justice including teamwork, fairness and leadership. Moderation including forgiveness, modesty, prudence and self control. Our coaching team strongly believe in many of these characteristics and feel that gymnastics encompasses many of these also. By integrating these virtues into our training ethos the children will be encouraged to utilise this learning not just in their gymnastics but in application to their wider life also. We are working in conjunction with Places Leisure, Dover District Leisure Centre to provide a training venue for Virtus Gymnastics sessions.
