It has been a busy couple of weekends for our little but mighty club. We have got all our results from both weekends so here is a little update for you.
South East Regional Intermediate Competition:
Eloise came 2nd with a qualifying score.
Grace came 2nd with a qualifying score.
Around the World Competition:
The gymnasts were amazing especially those that competed bars or beam for the first time. We couldn’t be prouder of how you rose to the challenge and smashed it.
The gymnasts that competed 5 pieces -
Caroline came 2nd on bars, 1st on beam and 2nd on floor.
Olivia came 2nd on bars, 2nd on floor and 2nd on trampette.
Amelia came 2nd on trampette.
Ava came 1st on bars, 1st on beam and 3rd on trampette.
Emmie came 3rd on trampette.
Lyla achieved a runners up medal but it was her first time competing 5 pieces.
The gymnasts that competed 4 pieces -
H.S came 2nd on bars.
Isabelle came 1st on bars, 1st on vault with a perfect score and 2nd on vault.
Freya came 1st on beam and 2nd on trampette.
Ada came 2nd on bars.
The gymnasts that competed 3 pieces -
Hanna came 2nd on trampette.
Amber came 3rd on trampette.
Arte came 2nd on trampette.
K.D W came 3rd on beam.
Joy came 2nd on beam.
A.H came 1st on beam and 3rd on trampette.
Hugo, Riley and D.C achieved a runners up medal but it was their first time competing on bars.
Evie and F.S achieved a runners up medal but it was their first time competing on beam.
DDLC vs DC Diamonds Competition:
This is always a fun competition between the 2 clubs.
Key Steps -

Intermediate -
Eloise came 1st.
Grace came 2nd.
Amelia came 3rd.

Novice Boys -
Jesse came 1st.
Arte came 2nd.

K.D W came 6th.
Amber came 9th.
Novice 2016-2017 -
Joy came 8th.
A.H came 11th.
F.S came 14th.
You have all achieved some fantastic results but more importantly personal growth.
