SORRY FOR LATE NOTICE BUT DUE TO THE MAYHEM WITH TRAFFIC IN CHRISTCHURCH WE HAVE DECIDED TO CANCEL THE CLASSES ON TUESDAY AND THURSDAY THIS WEEK ONLY.

We are now hosting some of the the National NAGBCs Western counties box offs and finals. The bout list is unreal so if you want to see the best amateur boxers from Western counties then they are here on your doorstep. We got our own Kieran Allam, Mitchell Stockwell and the talented Ella Doe who has recently won the Haringey and Riviera Box Cup.

Among the other top names from across the Western Counties are :

Lexi Phillips Sturminster
Neo Judge Torbay
Tom Connors Synwell
Leo Skinner Mackenzies

And many others

Our own Mitchell Stockwell has a straight Western Counties final against Mackenzies Leo Skinner which is going to be a cracker.

On top of this we have our own young boxers on. Boston Ruegg in his 8th bout and still only 10 years old and young Mikey Hughes at 11 years old is also on and both definitely ones to watch for in the future.

There is also a senior Western Counties challenge belt bout at 75kg between Khari Samuel of Bodysnatchers and Sof Brazi of Arena.

Don’t miss it. Saturday 25th October at Hamworthy Club. £20 adults £10 kids. Boxing starts at 1pm. Weigh in now 103am-1230pm.

Congratulations to our coach Gemma Ruegg who last night won the Commonwealth Silver Title in Manchester in what was her 21st professional fight.
An incredible achievement but comes as no surprise to everyone who knows her as she puts everything she has into her training.
Hard work always pays off. Here she is after last nights win with her son Boston who will shortly have his first bout for CNC Christchurch. Well done Gemma Inspirational stuff.

We have Tracy Jose of Changes Are Made the anti knife charity at our boxing show today. Please come and support her and get behind her charity she is doing an incredible job in the fight against knife crime which affects us all. She is an inspiration to us all as to what can be done. For you who don’t know Tracy , she is the grandmother of Cameron Hamilton who was killed in Bournemouth Town Centre.

BOXERS in Christchurch have faced one of their toughest bouts to date - taking on three mountains in support of an autism charity.

CNC Christchurch are proud to announce we are now working together with Changes are Made (C.A.M) an anti knife crime charity which was started by Tracy Jose after her grandson Cameron Hamilton was murdered in Bournemouth town centre in August 2023 at just 18 years of age. She has done an incredible job and continues to do amazing work to fight knife crime. C.A.M is now a registered charity. To go through what they have been through as a family and to set up a registered charity in Camerons name is an example to all of us what we can do to fight knife crime. We all have a role to play and cant simply think it wont happen to us because it does.

The main aim for C.A.M is to help, support, educate, prevent and deter young people from carrying or using knives or getting involved in serious crime.

As a club we are no stranger to tragedy and knife crime. Our own member Tom Roberts was murdered also in Bournemouth town centre in 2022 at the age of 21.

Too many young lives are being taken with this pandemic and ruining families and lives so if we can stop one person carrying a knife potentially we may have saved a life.
