Mad4Dance Mad4Dance offers professional training to children and adults in street, contemporary, acrobatic arts, tap, modern and ballet.

Our Dance & Well-being centre consists of brand new dance studios, kitchen facilities and a snug for mental wellbeing services. A vibrant and fast growing dance school based in Christchurch Mad4Dance offers professional training to children, young people and adults. We offer classes in Street Dance, Latino Funk, Contemporary and Ballet for all ages, abilities and backgrounds. Opportunities to perform in theatre shows, functions and events are offered to ALL Mad4Dance members. Julie Laming is the Founder and Principle.

And we are back for a new term here at Mad4Dance! After a gorgeous summer, we are all so excited to be back in the studios. From reuniting with friends, to already making new memories - the studio is truly buzzing! We hope you all had an amazing break, and cannot wait to see you back dancing.

Looking back to a beautifully moving memory of performing for the lovely Avon View residents in Christchurch. Some were moved to tears including staff members as the children danced and smiled with all their hearts. It was so lovely to see the interaction, love and appreciation flowing between everyone! I can't believe the Dance Business conference is already a week away! It may look like a lot of fun (which it was) but we also learnt so much about business, ourselves and how we can do more to help our schools flourish and grow. All the seminar speakers were inspirational, motivating and informative but it was equally inspiring to meet and get to know other dance school owners and exhibitors. Our Baby Ballet classes provide a lovely introduction to dance in a warm and nurturing environment 🩰

Children begin to learn the foundations of ballet whilst also developing confidence, independence and important social skills. They learn how to take part in a class, follow instructions, build a relationship with their teacher and enjoy learning alongside other children.

These are all fantastic skills to develop before starting school and before progressing into our evening dance classes.
