✨ The Little Healing Hut welcomed its very first client yesterday ✨

After dreaming, planning, decorating and creating this little space, it was such a special feeling to finally welcome someone through the door and use it for what it was created for - a space to slow down, breathe, reconnect and simply be 💞

This was a little practice run before I officially open the doors, giving me the chance to experience the space from the other side and make a few final tweaks.

I’m not quite ready to open fully just yet, but this little milestone felt too special not to celebrate! 🌸

The Little Healing Hut will be a peaceful space for Reiki, energy healing, grounding, reflection and reconnecting with yourself - a little escape from the noise and busyness of everyday life.

I’m taking the next few weeks to get everything just right before welcoming more of you in ✨

One client. One session. One little hut.

Aparigraha - one of the Yamas in Patanjali’s eightfold path of Yoga - invites us to practice non-attachment.

To loosen our grip on how we think life should unfold and release our attachment to the outcome.

Sometimes a closed door, a disappointment, or an unexpected “no” can feel confusing.
But perhaps we’re not always meant to understand the "why" in the moment.

By letting go, we step into Ishvara Pranidhana - the practice of surrendering to a higher flow.
It asks us to trust the unfolding and remain open to where life is guiding us instead 💫

Sometimes what feels like rejection is simply redirection.
What leaves your path may be creating space for something more aligned.

Surrender. Trust. Allow ✨

A little reminder of what actually goes into that £10-15 class fee 👀

The hour you spend in the room is only one small part of the job…

There’s tax.
Insurance.
Booking fees.
Training & CPD.
Planning.
Travel.
Set up.
Pack down.
Admin.
Marketing.
Messages.
And all the time spent making sure you get a class that is safe, worthwhile and enjoyable 🫶

And then… there’s actually teaching the class!

So no, your instructor isn’t necessarily pocketing £15 for every person who walks through the door.

Small businesses have costs too.

This isn’t a “feel sorry for me” post - I LOVE what I do 💖

It’s just a little bit of transparency around what sits behind that seemingly simple £10-£15 payment.

So next time you book a class with an independent instructor, teacher or small business…

Know that you’re supporting far more than the hour you spend with them 💕💕💕

Between work, kids, family, trying to keep the house vaguely under control and having about 17 things going through your head at any given moment… finding time for yourself can feel impossible.

But the answer isn’t usually finding more time - It’s making better use of the time you already have.

You don’t need to be in the gym for hours. You don’t need to train 6 days a week. And you don’t need to eat “perfectly” 100% of the time!

My coaching is about finding something that actually fits around your life.

Some weeks you might smash your plan.
Some weeks life will get in the way.
That’s normal - We just adjust and carry on 💫

That’s also why I include regular check-ins. Because sometimes you don’t need another workout plan - you need someone to help you work out what’s getting in the way and keep you accountable.

So if “I don’t have time” has been the reason you’ve put yourself to the bottom of the list…

Maybe you don’t need more time, maybe you just need a plan that works with the life you already have 💖

I went to a new gym… and it humbled me 😂

It reminded me just how daunting it can feel walking into a new environment - even when you know what you’re doing.

It made me think about how much more intimidating that feeling can be when you’re already lacking confidence.

That’s why, when I PT, I’ll absolutely push you and challenge you… but I’ll always do it with kindness and empathy.

Because I don’t believe women need more pressure or punishment. I believe long-term change comes from feeling supported, capable and confident.

So yes, I’ll encourage that extra rep when you’ve got it in you. But sometimes what you need isn’t “one more rep.”

Sometimes you just need someone to believe in you 💜🏋️‍♀️
