Bank Holiday Monday took us to Swanage Pier after a weekend of wind & rain. Milky, churned-up viz with clearer patches around 2m and a lovely 19°C! ☀️

They say the sun shines on the righteous… judging by these light beams, some of our divers must've been well behaved! 😂

🤿🔥 ANOTHER SMASHING-IT POOL SESSION! 🔥🤿

Another buzzing night at Two Riversmeet Leisure Centre with more PADI Open Water students learning to dive and PADI ReActivate divers getting back underwater. 🌊

And that’s what we love about scuba – there’s no “right” age or time to dive! 💙

Some are taking their first breaths underwater, while others are returning after life got busy, time slipped by or the kids have finally grown up and it’s time to do something for themselves again! 🙌

Whether you’re young, older, completely new to scuba or haven’t dived for years, there’s an underwater adventure waiting for you.

Friday 31st July we had a brilliant and informative evening at Walkford Pub with Kat from Dorset Seasearch.

Kat showed us how we can all get involved in learning about, identifying and recording our local marine life – and her enthusiasm was absolutely infectious! 🐟🦀🌿

Now it’s time to take it a stage further… who’s up for a Seasearch course and putting that knowledge into practice underwater? 🤿

🌊 MONDAY AFTER-WORK DIVES… YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT’S WAITING! 🦈

What a way to finish a Monday! An after-work dive with Swanage Charters at Old Harry’s Drift — 21°C, around 3m viz and a lovely slow, gentle drift.

Not loads of fish action for most of the dive, but plenty of anemones and Dead Man’s Fingers to explore.

Then, just as we were about to ascend — isn’t it always the way?! 😆
🦈 A TOPE! Just lying there on the seabed. One swish of the tail and he/she was gone!
Now you’re just going to have to take my word for it…

😂 I’d already clipped my camera back onto my jacket ready to ascend! 📸🤦‍♀️

My first ever tope — and no photo to prove it! Absolutely buzzing! 🤩

Sometimes it’s just that ONE unexpected encounter that makes the whole dive. 💙

🐟🤿 EVER BEEN COMPLETELY ENGULFED BY FISH? 🌊

Why stop at one dive? After an awesome Sunday dive on the SS Kyarra, we headed to the Fleur de Lys & Barge for a lovely slow drift.

👀 2–3m viz | 🌡️ 20°C | 🌊 Slow bimble

More congers, fewer nudibranchs than last time, but the fish life was AMAZING!

🐟 Stay still and suddenly you’re completely surrounded by fish – an incredible feeling and one of those moments that reminds you why we love being underwater. 💙

Our PADI Open Water students were smashing their confined-water skills and are now another session closer to their first open-water dives. 👏🤿

It was also fantastic to see so many PADI ReActivate divers back underwater — refreshing their skills, rebuilding confidence and rediscovering that scuba buzz! 🌊

A late start, sunshine and just enough breeze to keep us cool — perfect for a Sunday afternoon dive on the iconic SS Kyarra with Swanage Boat Charters. ☀️🌊

☀️🌊 SUN, SEA, BBQ & GREAT COMPANY! 🌭🤿

A huge thank you to everyone who came along to our TAL Divers Summer Beach BBQ last week! 💙

It was fantastic to see so many old and new friends together. With the sea so warm, it was great to see everyone grabbing the opportunity for a swim while the food was being prepared! 🏊‍♀️🌭

Roll on next year… beach volleyball looks like fun, so maybe we’ll give that a go too! 🏐😆
