Ye Olde Knowle Bowling Club is a Crown Green Bowls venue situated in Dorridge, Solihull. We currently have over 100 playing members but are always on the lookout for new members to join our successful club.
23 league teams represent us on a weekly basis, with matches played in the mornings, evenings and at the weekends. We arrange internal social bowling as well as run annual club competitions. T

here's something for every player, whether you are new to bowls or more experienced, young or old. We are also proud to host external competitions and our greens are used annually for county matches and local and national competitions. Our annual Charity Cup Competition concluded last Friday, with Mary Brewin and Steve Blight emerging as this year's champions.

Congratulations both!

And many thanks to all the members who took part and raised money through entry fees and cake sales. The total sum exceeded £500, which Mary and Steve have elected to donate to FASTAID, Team Arden: eight voluntary first responders who are frequently first on the scene of requests for urgent medical care. The team receives no external funding, and is a worthy recipient of Ye Olde Knowle's 2026 fund raising efforts.
