Perfect day for a summer BBQ at Dorchester Tennis and Squash Club! Pictured are the players and winners of the Doubles Racketball competition and the World Team Tennis match. Thanks to all who brought food to share, to Janet Biles and Al Clark for organising and to Matt Pile for his hard work at the BBQ!

To celebrate the French Open members of Stourpaine Tennis Club arranged to play on the clay surface at Dorchester Tennis and Squash Club at the weekend. 15 Stourpaine members got into the spirit enjoying the clay surface and the club’s facilities. We hope you enjoyed it!

A scorching Bank Holiday fun tournament at the club with 12 players braving the heat. 5 rounds of 5 games with short deuces and no let serves. Individual scores resulted in top women Sue Warren with 17 games won and top man James Warne with 15 games won. Congratulations to everyone who took part and to Mike Williams who organised on the day.

Many congratulations to Forest Kelsall of DTSC for winning the Grade 5 under 11 Singles Tournament 🏆 at East Dorset in challenging windy conditions. Well done to everyone who took part.

A great fun day Easter Monday at DTSC for the Peter Cox Fun Tennis Tournament. The sun even shone on us ☀️🎾 after a very competitive round robin stage, the top 8 of 24 entrants went into the semi-finals.
Semi-final 1: Lorraine Slowther & Stephen Hockaday beat Ros & Al Clark 6-2
Semi-final 2: Charmian Wylde & James Warne beat Sophie Wells & Keith Mason 6-4
Final: Lorraine Slowther & Stephen Hockaday beat Charmian Wylde & James Warne 6-3.

Great weather for Finals Day of the 5th Annual Spring Tournament. Partners were randomly drawn for the Men’s, Women’s and Mixed doubles. This year the tournament was generously sponsored by Winterbourne Hospital.

A great New Years Day Fun Tennis Tournament at the club. 24 participants played in four Fast Four matches with the highest scoring woman and man on each court (plus 2 lucky losers) continuing into the semi finals. They were Ann Williams and Mike Williams v Sarah Skidmore and Harry Offer and Joy Hennessy and James Warne v Helen Tuckfield and Keith Mason. See
