Aquatics GB Next Gen Championships 2026

This event brings together the top 20 swimmers in Great Britain in each stroke and distance within their age group. It goes without saying that qualifying for this competition is a huge achievement.

Molly’s age group is a combined 13/14 age group, and as Molly is only 13, her qualification is an even more impressive accomplishment.

Anna – 200 Fly

Layla – 200, 100 & 50 Free

Molly – 200 & 100 Breaststroke

Swim England National Summer Meet 2026

Following the Next Gen Championships, each home nation runs its own National Summer Championships. These events invite the next 20 ranked swimmers in each event to compete at another highly prestigious competition.

Qualified athletes:

Talei – 100 & 50 Back

Layla – 100 & 50 Fly

A huge congratulations to all four girls — we are incredibly proud of what you have achieved.

A special mention must also go to all of our athletes who competed at the Regional Championships and the long course meets throughout the qualifying window. We witnessed some fantastic racing, countless personal bests, and, most importantly, significant athlete development. Every swimmer who stepped up to race, challenge themselves, and learn from the experience has played a part in making this a successful season.

The final day of the championships saw Iris back in action in the 200 Breaststroke and 100 Free — and she finished the meet in fantastic style. 🏊‍♀️🔥

After securing a solid 10th place finish in the 200 Breaststroke, she turned her focus to the 100 Free, where she qualified with a joint 4th place from the heats.

In a tightly contested final, Iris stepped up once again, delivering another PB performance to secure an excellent 5th place finish.

But the day wasn’t over yet…

In the afternoon, Iris took on the demanding 800 Free. Knowing she was up against strong competition, she raced hard from the start, producing yet another PB and powering her way to a fantastic Gold medal 🥇.

An incredible way to finish the championships — showcasing resilience, determination, and outstanding racing across the entire meet.
