Days don’t get much better than yesterday. We headed to Kinsham Raceway , the weather was perfect and the track was quiet. A bit premature for his experience but with such a quiet track I decided to let Van loose… he absolutely loved it and even got his knee down! Beau’s riding was on point and he set his personal best lap time. I told the boys if we had a good day we’d go to the pub on the way back, so we headed straight to The White Hart Over Wallop

Round 2 of fabracingofficial at Clay Pigeon Raceway was a tough one. Beau struggled to run the pace that was needed to be at the front. After many changes to the bike and lots of head scratching he found some speed Sunday afternoon to round off the weekend with a podium and a 3rd overall. Thank you to all that came to support us at our home race.

This weekend is Round Two of the FAB-Racing Championship.

They head to the South West for Clay Pigeon.

The feature Classes will be the Metrakit GP50 & GP70.

All races are streamed live on their youtube channel via Motorsport Media.

For any people local, if you want to get your kids racing, a good opportunity to go along and ask some questions.

A year ago during the space of a month everything we did changed (I’ve still not made up my mind whether it was for the better, Beau will tell you it was) Manchester indoor for the opening round of with , entering the first round of on the Minimoto, then swiftly learning how to ride a geared motorbike and heading to to see if he was quick enough to enter Round 2 of FAB at … he was.

Last minute decision to enter an MX race at upavon yesterday. Was a real eye opener for Beau, first ever mx race, track was pretty gnarly with a stacked grid of 41 riders. A great day overall, lots of learning and great to catch up with my old mate and family.
