The Foxes will be looking to extend their unbeaten run, but they’ll face one of their toughest tests of the season against their closest challengers.

🏆 Doug Read Cup Winners 2026 🏆

After a 10-year wait, the Doug Read Cup is heading back to Cattistock.

The Foxes produced an excellent all-round performance to overcome Martinstown in the final, securing victory by 8 wickets with almost 5 overs to spare.

Special mention goes to Ollie Legg, whose outstanding spell of 4-19 helped restrict the opposition, and Will Maltby, who guided the run chase with an unbeaten 60 from just 31 balls.

Attention now turns back to the league, where the Foxes remain unbeaten at the top of Division One with three important fixtures still to play.

A fantastic achievement for everyone involved.

BIG NIGHT OF SPORT TONIGHT! 🦊🏏⚽

Good afternoon, sports fans! Wednesday has quickly become one of the best evenings of the week in the village.

The Fox & Hounds will be showing the England match live, with kick-off at 5:00pm.

Perfectly timed, the Cattistock Foxes then take on Cerne Valley at home in a league T20 clash, starting at 6:30pm.

The Foxes go into the game on an incredible run of 11 matches unbeaten, sitting 4 points clear at the top of the league, and with a Cup Final to look forward to on 10th July.

As always, Gennaro & Basilico Pizza Van will be serving up their fantastic pizzas outside the pub. So, after (hopefully!) watching England hammer Congo, grab yourself a pizza and a takeaway pint from the Fox & Hounds Cattistock, then head down to the cricket ground and get behind your local team.

Tonight we face St George’s in the Doug Read Cup Semi-Final, looking to put last year’s defeat behind us and secure a place in another final.

The match starts at 6:30pm and will be played at the completely impartial, totally neutral venue of Dorchester CC…
