The club is based in Piddlehinton and plays in Dorset and Wilts Division 2 (South), where we play competitive, aggressive rugby. All standards are welcome at the club so please come along to training on a Tuesday or Thursday, or see our website for more details. The club is proud to support Prostate Action UK. ⛳️PRFCGC⛳️

Last weekend saw our golf enthusiasts take the course in what can only be described as a terrible advert for amateur golf. A good day out was had with the classic highs and lows that a game of WHACK (f**k) can produce.

Followed by some very natural hydration. Thank goodness the lads are useless and will have to play rugby at the club for the rest of their lives.

The Somerset Raiding Party came, they saw, they tried their luck… but the Parish held firm. 🐀

A clean sheet against the Tock invasion and 19 points put past Crewkerne.

Next up for the Puddle boys: The Kingman Cup as we make the trip to Somerton Saxons RFC on 19th September.

👑KING OF THE PARISH👑

Tonight we’re hosting a Somerset Raiding Party consisting of Martock Rugby Club (EST. 1992) and Crewkerne Rugby Club.

In what is a pre-season fixture and “free hit”- personal pride is on the line. We’re there beautiful South and they’re the scary North with bizarre accents and things called “breadcakes”.

Come one down and enjoy a pint and some ultimate rugby.

We welcome esteemed guests Martock Rugby Club (EST. 1992) and Crewkerne Rugby Club to Greenfields this Friday night.

🔦UNDER THE LIGHTS.

In a Tri-Fixture tournament of village-sized proportions, we look to impose our good lucks and brute strength upon the Somerset Horde. Admin doesn’t know if Puddle has versed Martock. Admin does know we played an away fixture to Crewkerne, in Bucharest Romania!

🍃WALKING RUGBY🍂

As the new season sneaks up on us- Puddletown Rugby looks to write new stories.

Walking Rugby is for everyone.

Club legends fed up of watching the 1st team because back in there day, you could lamp your opposite number and not be arrested.

Our amazing ladies who help keep the club running proper and not fall into a feral cult.

It’s for folk new to the area who want to get out in the valley and enjoy their evening doing something new.

The Puddletown Moss- we move so slowly moss could grow on us!

If Carlsberg did village rugby pitches… they’d probably do this one.

After hosting Porkfest on Saturday, pre-season returns to what we think is the best pitch in Dorset (bit bias) this evening.

Plenty of beer, food and good blokes chucking the pill about.

Get along and see what it is all about - 7pm onwards @ Greenfields.

Porkfest was made even more special as we hosted our first ever game of women’s rugby at Greenfields, welcoming the D&W Senior Women to Puddletown to face off against the Looseheadz.

It was a hugely proud moment for the club and a great step forward in continuing to make Greenfields a home for women’s rugby.

We’re already proud to host the future of D&W women’s rugby, with the U16 D&W South Centre Player Pathway regularly using our facilities.

And it doesn’t stop there…

In October, we’ll welcome the D&W U18 for their Open Training to Greenfields.

From the next generation finding their feet to senior rugby taking centre stage, it’s fantastic to see Greenfields becoming a place where women’s rugby can continue to grow.
