Dorchester Town Youth U16’s Girls are looking for new players to join us for the upcoming 2026/27 season! ⚽

As our poster says, ALL ABILITIES are welcome! From total beginners who just love the game to seasoned pros – we want you. Training is just once a week, so it’s easy to get involved and fit into your schedule.

That’s a wrap on an incredible season and another massive weekend of football! ⚽️🏆

After a non-stop weekend at the R&T Tournament in Bournemouth, our players have officially crossed the finish line for the season. From the scorching sun and high-quality local derbies at Chapel Gate to the hard-fought matches throughout the league calendar, these teams have shown unbelievable heart.
It’s been a year of growth, grit, and some fantastic memories—including that well-deserved Sportsmanship Award at Rockley Park! 🏆✨

A massive highlight for our U15 girls at the presentation was getting to meet the legendary Glenn Hoddle! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿⚽️ Having an England icon there to celebrate their achievements was the perfect way to cap off the weekend.
While the league games are finished, the work doesn't stop. We are already looking ahead to the new season and want to grow our football family.

Non-Stop Football at Chapel Gate! ⚽️☀️
It has been a scorcher on the south coast this weekend! With both our girls and boys teams competing at the R&T tournament, it has been absolutely non-stop football from the first whistle to the last.

The heat has made for some incredibly hard work on the pitch. We’ve faced off against some top-tier opposition again, including some familiar local battles against Weymouth.

It’s been a tough shift physically, and we’ve unfortunately suffered a few injuries along the way. However, the grit and determination from all our players haven't wavered for a second. They are digging deep and giving everything in every match despite the temperature.

Huge thanks to the parents and supporters for keeping the energy up on the sidelines and managing the logistics of two teams in this heat! 🔥🙌

Winners of the Sportsmanship Award! 🏆

✨
What a weekend for the U15 Girls! After a relentless couple of days at Chapel Gate, we finished the tournament with 1 win, 1 draw, and 5 losses. But those numbers don't even begin to cover the heart, grit, and absolute battle these ladies put in on that pitch.
We headed over to Rockley Park this evening for the presentation ceremony, and we couldn't be prouder to announce that the girls picked up the Sportsmanship Award! 🏆

As an extra special highlight, the girls got to meet England legend Stuart Pearce, who was there as a guest of honor to hand out awards and share some words with the teams. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿⚽️

In a weekend full of tough games and even tougher weather, they showed exactly what this team is about: respect, resilience, and a never-give-up attitude. They represented the club with pure class from the first whistle to the final trophy presentation.

Huge thanks to the organizers and to our amazing supporters for staying with us through it all. We’re heading home with our heads held high! 🙌
