Well - he was going to do it 4 years ago, when we moved from Averham Park, but decided to carry on in a scaled down manner at Wiseton - just training for a few friends.
So I never thought I would see the day when David would rescind his Public Trainers licence - but he has decided not to renew his licence this year and at the age of 78 fully retire.
It’s time to catch up on doing other things on the bucket list, and spend some time relaxing in the home we bought to retire to (many years ago) in Spain.
We have had a fantastic 15 years training some fabulous horses 🐎 for many people, most of whom we now count as good friends.
We Have Had a Ball - literally! Racing all over the world.
It’s been hard work at times, and along with the highs, some awful lows - but it’s been such a pleasure as we have had some marvellous staff who would always put in that extra mile to help us achieve our goals.
Thank you to you All.
It’s been a fantastic journey taking us to heights we never dreamed we would achieve in the Racing World. Travelling to Race in Dubai, Macaw, California, France, Ireland and Hongkong.
Davids last runner will probably be tomorrow, and at the latest by the end of the month - hopefully we can get a winner to finish on a high!
Thank You to all of you who have followed us over the years, your support has been much appreciated.
