And that’s a wrap, as they say, on this year’s road league. Our fantastic members have got stuck in and given it the beans in some pretty unfriendly conditions! 💪

As our head coach Ali said -

“You have all been absolutely amazing. Run awfully hilly courses in rain, hot sun and wind and represented Doncaster Triathlon Club with amazing attitude and commitment.”

💫 Early Brigg Sprint Triathlon ✅
💫 Run for Wildlife 10K (an age group win) ✅
💫 The London Marathon ✅

Every one of our members take on their challenges for different reasons, but always the same incredible support from fellow members willing them on and cheering in person or virtually.

Dare we say it…. Has the weather finally turned?!That can only mean one thing…. Triathlon season is upon us! 🙌🙌

Over the weekend we saw a hive of activity for our members including:

💫 one of our juniors representing the north east as part of the GB U18 waterpolo girls training squad

💫 one of our members getting age group wins and PBs at Yorkshire Masters, Harrogate

💫 one of our members completing Ironman Valencia 70.3

💫 several of our members enjoying getting back to cycling outside after a very long winter!

Great to see our members doing what they love in various different guises - we’re looking forward to plenty more activity and events from here on in! 💚💙

We could tell you why DTC is such a great club… but moments like this speak far louder!

Seeing our members enjoying their training, supporting each other, being appreciative of the coaching efforts and coming away with a smile says it all. 💙💚

It might be the ‘off season’ but we had a packed pool again last night for our swim sessions.

From ‘newbies’ to basically fish in disguise, we saw many different swimming abilities, yet all with one common goal - to improve - whether it’s technique, speed, or endurance!

Our members really committed to the session set and always gives a boost to see them all encouraging each other! 🙌

And for anyone thinking it’s all just brutal drills and non-stop swimming, the ‘fast lane’ managed to find plenty of time in the pool for chin-wagging too 😉

Lunging into the new year and new season….

It was cold, dark and not the most inviting weather and yet our members showed up, some new potential members showed up, our coach showed up and our SBR leaders showed up!

Sometimes a little bit of community and shared ambition can help us all show up - in whatever way we need to!

If you’re thinking of something new for 2026, or getting back into it if it’s dropped off, get in touch - everyone welcome!! 🙌
