First night of the Sheffield Summer League tonight for Miners 1 & 2.

It was a very very warm evening, playing for 40 mins was a tough ask but we still went out there!

Miners 2 lost to Hillsborough 2 41 points to 28.

Miners 1 were against Cyclones 1, very close game in the first half with only a few points difference. Second half finished 57 - 40.

Really difficult to play in heat like this but we still perceiver and get ready to play tomorrow!

Thanks again to everyone who comes every week to play! We had 15 people tonight so we played carousel basketball so we were ALWAYS running, intermittent water breaks of course... Hard work by everyone and brilliant basketball played!

What a fantastic session we had yesterday! The progress these young players are making is incredible, and they’re quickly developing into a strong, confident team. 💪🏀

It’s exciting to see the group coming together so well, with friendships forming, skills improving, and plenty of enthusiasm every week. 🌟

We’re currently welcoming new players aged 8–12 years old to join our growing Mini Miners family.
