It’s good to hear lots of our previous Frickley Cup Three Day Event Competitors are planning yet another trip to Frickley this year after having a blast the last two years.

With the option to compete in an RCNQ class or ordinary class everyone can compete in this years UVEX Frickley Cup!

Remember that this year for the first time BE 80, 90 & 100 RCNQ eligible competitors have a choice to compete in a standard one day class or the three day event.

Frickley Park RCNQ Classes - you’ve asked so we’ve answered 🙋‍♀️💬

This is our biggest RCNQ year to date!

Last year you asked for three day RCNQ classes so you weren’t choosing between the UVEX Frickley Cup three day or a chance to qualify for Badminton and Chillington Chillington Championship Finals. We’ve delivered giving you the choice this summer!

Choose a long format 3DE or short format ODE RCNQ!

Same rules and qualification process for the 3DE & ODE!

Entries open 13th July.

MERs for RCNQ qualification to be obtained by time of class entry!

Qualify for an RCNQ place as usual, if you’re unsure of requirements to qualify please visit the BE website. Frickley are offering you the CHOICE to either compete in a standard one day RCNQ class OR a brand new three day RCNQ class! Same qualification needed to enter either class. Same rules apply to the number of final qualification places awarded for Badminton and Chillington 2027!

Plans are coming together nicely for this year’s event but we need a little help!

Our volunteers play a vital role in all aspects of the event and help make it the fantastic experience that it is.

We have an amazing team, many of whom return year after year, some joining us for a day of fence judging and a catch-up with friends, others staying for all four days of competition.

However, we still need more volunteers!

If you’re able to spare a little time in return for being fed and watered, enjoying some great company, and being part of a brilliant event, we’d love to hear from you. Full training provided.

Three days, one unforgettable experience…The UVEX Frickley Cup 2026

From the focus of dressage on day one, to the thrill of cross country on day two. Not forgetting the drinks party on the lawn to round off day one. The final trot up on Sunday morning after dinner and drinks at the bar at the Frickley Park restaurant the night before and then the finale - the show jumping atmosphere as competitors jump in reverse order before a mounted presentation! 🏆

The Frickley Cup is more than a competition, it’s an experience.

Whether you’re trying to secure an RCNQ final place in the 2026 RCNQ 80,90 & 100 3DE classes, stepping up to your first long-format Three Day Event or simply soaking up every second of the journey in our 80, 90 & 100 3DE classes … this is what it’s all about!

The UVEX Frickley Cup returns in 2026, by popular demand, with some very exciting changes to the schedule!

For 2026, we’re giving you the opportunity to secure a place at the Grassroots Championship Finals at Badminton and Chillington 2027 by competing alongside our grassroots 80, 90 and 100 Three Day Event classes in our brand new UVEX Frickley Cup RCNQ classes!

The choice is yours…

Gain your RCNQ Final qualification place, then either:
- Enter the traditional one-day RCNQ classes also running at Frickley

OR

- Take on the UVEX Frickley Cup (21st-23rd August) in an 80, 90 or 100 RCNQ class and experience a long-format Three Day Event and also be in with a chance of qualifying for the opportunity to ride at Badminton and Chillington the same as any other RCNQ class. The top % will qualify and gain their tickets.
OR

- Not qualified, don’t worry! Enter the national 80, 90 & 100 Three Day Event UVEX Frickley Cup classes!
