Some great bowling last night as the race for player of the month hots up. Wendy now has taken top spot with one week to go.wendy and her partner Chris took maximum points last night to claim team of the week . David now sits second in the month table on 14 points just one point behind Wendy All to play for next week .

What a night of high drama last night at the Doncaster indoor bowls centre.Two pairs going unbeaten all night and both on same points difference.Chris and John just edged with scoring 38 shots far while David and Bev finished the close second having scored 37 shots . It was also a good start for the month for Wendy and Claire who picked up four points

Today I visited Edenthorpe short mat bowls club.Sandra runs it really well. It's a friendly group people make you feel welcome. Although the game is still played Ina competitive spirit but good fun all round.

The peak district short mats bowls should set up there own county pairs league.staffordshire,Derbyshire,Stockport A ,B become Cheshire and Lancashire.west York's A become yorkshire.each team has 8 pairs(16) players playing 2 games each .

We have a new home .we now play at Christ Church Community Hall at Wadsley Bridge . We also now play Wednesday nights with a strat time of 8pm playing till 10pm . Anyone wishing to come and have game let me know .
