On Sunday we secured a well earned 4-2 victory over Carcroft Social.

Carcroft took a deserved 1-0 lead into halftime after dictating the first 30 mins and already having 1 disallowed following an offside.

From the whistle we turned the tide in the second half with a great comeback.

The introduction of Rak and Liam at halftime proved to be game-changers as Liam displayed his clinical finishing by bagging an impressive hat-trick and Rak showing brilliant footwork, turning the match on its head.

Roame also contributed with a crucial goal for us, further solidifying our dominance in the second half. The whole team showed great determination and resilience, fighting back from a deficit and struggling to find our pace to secure a well-deserved victory.

Overall, it was a good day for us as we showcased what we can do on the pitch and our fighting spirit, clinching a vital win that will boost our morale and confidence moving forward with only a few games left of this season.

Sunday we faced Windmill Fc in a league match.

Despite the challenging conditions in the pitch being very boggy, both teams delivered a great performance that showcased the essence of grassroots football. The final scoreline favored Windmill Fc at 8-3, but the match was defined by much more than the numbers on the scoreboard.

Waz, Liam, and Col emerged as the goal-scoring heroes for Markham, displaying incredible skill and determination in the adverse conditions.

After going 1-0 up within 10 minutes through a header from Waz it showed Windmill that we were not the same side they faced earlier in the season.

Each goal was a testament to our resilience on the field. The soggy pitch added an extra difficulty to an already tough game against unbeaten and top of the league Windmill.

Despite the defeat, Our team showed a spirited performance. As we move forward, this match serves as a reminder of the team's unwavering commitment and improvements that are happening within our club.
