🏉 WHAT A DAY WE’VE HAD! 🏉

Today we had the pleasure of hosting the U18s YRFU Colts League Finals Day – and what a brilliant day it was! 👏

Every single team gave it their all, showing incredible talent, passion, and sportsmanship. It was everything rugby is about – commitment, respect, and teamwork from start to finish. 💪🔥

To make it even more special, our U18s kicked off the day against Middlesbrough in the opening game. Both sides were outstanding, but our lads dug deep and came out on top… 🏆

What a game and what a way to finish their junior rugby journey – a performance to be proud of and a moment they’ll never forget!

We’d like to wish every single player the very best of luck as they make the step up into senior rugby. The future is bright! 🌟

🏉☀️ WHAT A DAY FOR COMMUNITY RUGBY! ☀️🏉

What an absolutely incredible day we had at our Mini & Junior Festival! With over 650 kids all coming together for one thing community rugby! it truly was something special 🙌

The sun was shining, the music was on, and the atmosphere around the club was unreal 🎶☀️ From the moment the first whistle blew to the final smiles at the end, it was non-stop positivity!

A massive highlight was seeing our Doncaster Knights 1st team players down supporting our Mini & Junior players! cheering them on, offering words of encouragement, and making the day even more memorable for the kids 👏💙

Everywhere you looked there were smiles… from the big raffle, tombola, rugby ball & sweet stall, right through to the ever-busy BBQ 🔥🌭🍬 it all came together perfectly!

These events don’t just happen, there’s a huge amount of work behind the scenes, and we’re so proud to say… we absolutely pulled it off! 💪

A HUGE thank you to everyone who attended, participated, volunteered, and supported the day. You made it what it was ❤️

🗓️ Sunday 22nd March is the Doncaster Knights Mini Juniors Rugby Festival at Castle Park.

🏉 The event kicks off at 9.30 and promises to be a fantastic day of rugby with teams from across England playing against each other.

🙌 We are proud to support the mini juniors and delighted to share that this year we have sponsored the design and printing of the festival brochure.

📕We handed over 500 copies of the brochure to the mini juniors this afternoon in advance of Sunday’s event.

🏆 Good luck to all those involved and we hope you have a fantastic, fun filled day!

🏉 Yorkshire Cup Final – This Saturday! 🏉

This Saturday 21st March 2026, Doncaster Knights Mini Juniors U14s face Yarnbury U14s in the Yorkshire Cup Final.

It’s set to be a fantastic morning between two talented teams who have both worked hard to reach the final 👏

🔥 Another Successful Coaching Clinic 🔥

Coaching Clinic No.2 in the books and what a session it was! 🏉💪

Our Doncaster Knights 1st team players Matt McNab and Zach Kerr put the Colts through their paces, pushing standards while also sharing their knowledge and experience 🏉👏

This session focused on catch & pass and decision making, with huge value not just for the players, but for our Mini & Junior coaches too. Vital skills, strong fundamentals, and loads to take away and put straight into practice when coaching across all our Mini Juniors 🏉🙌

A massive thank you to Matt and Zach for delivering a top-quality session and continuing to support the development of our players and coaches. This is how we keep raising standards across the club 🏉💙

On Tuesday 13th January, we are delighted to welcome Hill House U15s as they take on Wirral Grammar School for Boys U15s in Round 5 of the National Schools Vase Competition.

🎄✨ A Great Way to Wrap Up the Year! ✨🎄

This weekend saw some of our juniors take to the pitch for their final matches before the season break, showing fantastic commitment and teamwork right to the end 👏🏉

At the same time, our minis celebrated with their Christmas party — full of laughter, smiles and festive cheer, enjoyed by everyone! 🎅🎁
