Right guys (and gals), finally got round to having some time to post re the new singles league so here goes…….
New singles league starting 2022. Will post re dates etc when these have been confirmed but just wanting to see who’s interested so we can work out numbers etc. if interested or wanting in, pls comment below so I can start compiling a list.

Same format as before. Players will be put across 5 divisions based on their standard and play everyone in their division twice. Race to 9 or best of 16 so draws are possible.

£100 entry and prize money paid to top 4 players in each division based on minimum of 11 players in each division. Entry money can be either bank transferred, paid as cash in one go or in instalments but MUST be paid before the league starts. As mentioned, start date will be confirmed once we have names and numbers but it’s likely to be beginning/mid Feb.

2 weeks ago we held the old EPA rules tournament and even Big Murph came out of retirement for this one. Firstly, thank you to everyone that attended. What a fab day and it was great to see everyone playing to a high standard; especially the old master himself. After a fudge fest Jack Duggan and Callo managed to get through to the semi-finals and were edged out by the eventual finalists; Scott Preece and Adam Hayes. After playing some awesome pool all day unfortunately the tiredness took its toll and Adam ran out a 6-2 winner. Congratulations Adam.

Finally thank you to Murphys Sports bar for allowing us to host this event at their fab venue. Topnotch as usual.

A long time for me to put this post on (sorry Mike) dur to being majorly busy with work and other projects. Firstly thank you to everyone that attended the division 3/4 comp on June 27th. Secondly, thank you to my fab husband Kev for running it on the day with me playing pool myself in Brid. After a great standard of pool all day Josh Mason and Nick Maw made it to the semi-finals, just losing out to the eventual finalists; Ryan Clewer and Mike Davies. Massive congratulations to Mike who ran out a 7-5 winner, playing some awesome shots along the way. 😀.

Finally, thank you to Murphys Sports Bar for allowing us to host at such a fantastic venue. Top notch as usual.

Well what can I say? First tournament back since reopening and it didn’t disappoint with some very close matches being played yesterday. Thank you to everyone that came and made it such a good day and hopefully will see you all again at the next one. Some cracking games played to a very good standard to say it was a Division 5 comp 😊. Dale Crehan and Tony Parkin making the semi-finals and just losing out to the eventual finalists; Martin Wilson and Kevin Ferguson. Massive congratulations to Kev who ran out a 7-3 winner in the final 😊🎱.
Finally thank you to Thomas Heckingbottom at Murphy’s for allowing us to host at such a fantastic venue. Top notch as usual.
