This weekend we ran the British Combat Sambo Championships 2026 🏆
Massive number of competitors and great level of competition 💪

Special thanks to all the staff and helpers: Sabrina, Becky, Sam, Sarah, Kady, Daniel, Tamzin, Brian, Colin, Toni, Shannon, Medics Alex and Morlu, Tai, Eamon and Callum 🙏

We personally entered 4 competitors and left with 4 British Champions 🥇🥇🥇🥇
Ewan, Tai, Daniel and Tamzin 👏
We are so proud of them for all the hard work they put in to getting to this point. Especially Tai having come from a BJJ club to train with us for just 1 year and now winning National titles beating an MMA Fighter with many years competition behind them 🎉

We are also very excited to see the development of female competitors in British Combat Sambo, we hope the 7 ladies we had competing this year inspire more and more to keep coming 🙏

📣📣 There will be no Friday evening classes or Saturday open mat this weekend at the club, as Doncaster Sambo & Wrestling are hosting the British COMBAT SAMBO Championships 2026 🔴🔵🇬🇧
