Back doing what I love.

Trying to move better, move faster, and do everything with a bit more power and intent.
Not just for the golf, but for the triathlon too.

As part of the triathlon prep, I’m paying more attention to performance rather than just ticking the KMs off. Looking at average power and max power output on the bike using speed and cadence sensors linked up to MyWhoosh and the Wahoo app when I’m out on the road.

Strength, power, endurance.

Just trying to become a better athlete than I was yesterday.

So after a year or so away from it, I’m thinking about taking bookings sports massage again if there’s enough interest

Deep tissue, cupping, soft tissue work — the stuff that actually shifts the tightness you’ve just got used to carrying around.

Not relaxation massage. Not candles. Just proper work on the bits that are stopping you moving right.

I’ll be honest, there’s only limited slots because of my work rota, so it’ll only be a handful a week.

Nice little plod around the parish 👟

Set off thinking I’d do a 2.5k and see what my pace is for the race but I channeled my inner Forrest Gump (and ) and just kept going. 10k later and I’m wondering why the f**k I carried on 😅

First time out on the road in a while and the body will absolutely not be thanking me tomorrow.

But I never thought I’d be the bloke who ran 10k for fun.
Triathlon prep will do that to you. Especially now the bike has arrived. 🚴
