New Signing Reveal

As you saw his name on the Team Sheet Yesterday we are happy to confirm that Daniel Jones will be playing for the B Team this season after dropping down from the A Team.

We also can confirm that Stuart and Helen Topps have signed to the team as two core dominoes players.

All 3 Players won on debut last night in the Cup Match against Hatfield Main.

Today the Gatehouse B Team head over to Hatfield Main for the Pre-Elimination Cup Round to fight for their spots one FA Cup equivalent for the MNL. Kasey Hey is the poster for today, team line to be revealed at 6:30pm BST.

14/05 Gatehouse Training Session Winners

Every Thursday we hold an Open Training Session for everyone to come and join in with. That’s the A & B Team and anyone who wants to come maybe join us in the future.

Depending on the numbers determines the Darts Format. But for Dominoes it is always a FT5 Straigh Knockout that runs alongside.

Darts Winner this week was Jack Mulligan, claiming his 4th Training Title and retains his title from the previous training session.

We also have a B Bracket where 3rd Place from each group gets a chance to get a bit of Glory. The winner of the B Bracket this week was Jake Davey.

Dominoes Knockout Winner was also Jake Davey taking his Maiden Title at Dominoes!

We also have a inhouse Order of Merit System which gives everyone a bit of an incentive to partake as well.

11/05 Game 1: Styrrup C V Gatehouse B Winners & Achievements

For those who are new to the page this is how the Points System Works for the Bob Nellis MNL!

Each Game has 9 Matches, best 5/9 Will take the win on the night for that game. The winning Team Picks up 5 Bonus Points as well for winning so in Grand Total there is 28 Points up for Grabs Each Night!

Those points are placed into The Aggregate and will ultimately decide who goes up or down in Divisions.

Running alongside is the Dominoes and Darts League Tables, points from these is what forms The Aggregate! So every point is crucial.

Darts Recap:
6/9 Games won which means we take 11 Points away from Styrupp C! No 180s seen, but Callan Grady picks up the highest checkout of the evening with 61!

Dominoes Recap:
Only 2 Matches won so that means we lost the Dominoes Side tonight, but we will come back stronger, however its not all doom and gloom as Robert Allen picks up the Teams first Pin Badge by winning his match 7-0!

Overall Recap:
As far as new teams are concerned, to walk away with 13 points for The Aggregate is a huge achievement! There is a long way to go yet and plenty of points up for grabs. Rome wasn't built in a day!
