🏇 Serious Rider Opportunity – Belton, North Lincolnshire 🏇
A question for the riders out there…
Do genuinely passionate riders still exist who value the opportunity to ride and learn from quality horses rather than looking for payment?
I have three quality horses requiring regular exercise throughout the summer to keep them fit, progressing and enjoying their work alongside my own riding.
⭐ Established horse currently competing at 1.30m
⭐ Very smart and talented 7-year-old
⭐ Exceptionally talented 6-year-old who was broken and then allowed time to mature due to his size and now needs consistency
These are not riding school horses. They are quality competition horses with brains, ability and personalities. They require a capable, sympathetic rider with proven showjumping experience.
I will continue riding the horses myself and will retain control of all training plans and competition decisions. I am a UKCC Level 3 Showjumping Coach and have produced horses and riders through the ranks myself.
To be completely transparent, I am not looking to pay someone. If I wanted to pay, I’d simply ride them myself, i just have a lot on at the moment.
I already have a very capable rider based with me who is taking more of a dressage route. She may be happy to hack with you or help ride the horses on the flat, subject to us discussing things first. There is also the possibility that she may take some of the horses further down the line.
What is important to me is that anyone coming onto the yard is happy to work as part of a team and share opportunities. We have a friendly, drama-free atmosphere here which we’ve worked hard to maintain over the last year, and I’d like to keep it that way 😊.
We have excellent facilities including our own arena, horsebox and training setup. If the arrangement works well and the commitment is there, I would be happy to invest further in the future and potentially purchase additional horses for the right rider to progress with.
Due to previous experiences and the nature of the horses and business, the successful applicant will be required to sign confidentiality and liability agreements. No photographs, videos, social media posts or disclosure of information relating to the horses, yard, clients or business will be permitted without prior written permission.
