Well what a weekend, race weekend at Snetterton that was a a bit of a finger in the air if I did it or not, Qualifying was shocking with a 2m18s time, Saturday was warm but abit overcast at times, wanted to knock 5 seconds off that time, race one and two got down to 2m15s, and standard battles with sh*tty r1's....onto today and was hell bent on another 2 seconds off my time, r1 battles commence, getting burned down the straights and out braking and carrying more corner speed, well I destroyed a few of them and smashed in 2m10s best lap, out of control at times, and one knackered rear tyre but what a feeling seeing lap timer show that....stick that one you sh*tty r1's....that should put my 6th in the championship with solid 5th' all weekend.....what's next I dont know there is one last round at brands hatch in 4 weeks, but need two new tyres, entry fees and about 100 quid in fuel.....so if you want to help please get in touch....

Well what a weekend that was....Great times but feeling it now, so after a crap practice/qualifying onto race one, had some good battles with others in the other class that runs at the same time,I felt OK but just didn't feel great, rear tyre I was happy with but thought I would change it at end of day, second race battled with a bloody r1 for most of the race, smash me down the straights but had him in the corners, last lap took my chance and pushed hard to beat him in the end, wasn't happy as I know I was better, changed rear tyre and scrubbed it this mornings practice, and onto first race today, again started to get battling with a sh*tty R1, but although had me down the straight I was pushing hard hitting 1.48s, and had enough so blocked passed in Mansfield and pulled the pin so I could gap him before the straight, hit the chicane perfect, bottom of the mountain, nice power wheelie into hall, old hairpin awesome, hit 3rd in barn and that's where it went wrong, lost grip and am now a tarmac surfer, I held onto the bike until I reased the tyre wall was approaching alot faster than I wanted too, I let go and the bike hit the grass first and dug in hitting the tyre wall lightly, I then hit the grass bounced and headed at the tyre wall, surprisingly the tyre wall wasnt as hard as I remember from 20 years ago, a second later I released I need to get out so jumped on the the wall and took a minute to work out what hurt the most, it turns out my pride was most hurt, well until the morning maybe.....anyway after somme great help from new and old friends and family, we got the bike ready for race two, not a great start, I pulled a few places and the guy next to me didn't notice I got a great start and we hit but I kept it pinned and I now need a new brake guard again for the second time today, I pushed on but I lost a little bottle, each time I went though barn corner I saw my marks on the tarmac and just couldn't push harder....but all in all I didn't start racing again for winning I did it for what I had this weekend friends and family enjoying a stupid nearly 50 year bloke pushing himself to do something he loves and them enjoy watching it...thank you all..

Sorry been so quiet of late, lots on, I did a track evening at cadwell a few weeks back, as not been on track there since about 2013, first session 1.52 I think it was, second session forgot to put timer on but felt alot quicker took to the grass 3/4 the way down the start finish straight as run out of room for about 4 bikes, bit still went past them all, 3rd and 4th session were wet and lots of dropped bikes, I fact only 2 of us went out in the last session, but felt great in damp conditions
And now onto the weekend, van is packed ready for Saturday and Sunday race days, travelling up tomorrow, keep you updated

Well an eventful night, locked myself in van, don't ask, had to push bike half a mile for scrutineering no engines running before 8.30, got a bollocking for my race numbers again.....so had to sort something....and the weather looks like we are in for a mixed day.....but buzzing and can't wait for it all to start

Bit of a late post from the weekend, not the best outcome of results, but as I didn't do Saturday qualifying so got put at the back of the grid, I was also the only novice in the race and a track I had never ridden, but first race I finished 7th out of 8th in class and second race 5th out if 7 starters but 2 fell off...lol there ok.....I aimed not to finish last which I sort of did, complete consistent laps under a minute, did that and not fall off, did lose the front twice but stopped on, need to set the bike up a little in regards to gearing but onwards for the next race, not doing prembery as told its not a good place and it's miles away, so next race aiming for Snetterton in May, may try to get a track day in next month somewhere, thanks to my pit bi***es josh and rv

Well today is here, just setting off to Brands Hatch for my first race since 2001.....mixed feeling but so looking forward to it

Collecting my pit bitch on the way, will be a long day tomorrow but its the start of something I should of done years ago
