Based in Ballyclare, we have 2 teams playing in the Ballymena & Provincial Football League & an U18s team playing in the South Belfast Youth Football League.

LEGENDS DAY!!

Dust off the old boots and come take part in our legends day fund raising game.

Two legends squads will take on our current squads in what is always a great day out.

All money raised will be in aid of club improvements along with our chosen charity for the event, Leukaemia & Lymphoma NI.

Would be great to see you all there 😀

🔴⚪️ Manea Joins ⚪️🔴

Ballynure Old Boys FC are delighted to announce the signing of attacking midfielder Sebastian Manea.

Seb joins the club after taking a break from football over the last few seasons due to work commitments and is now eager to get back playing.

A player well known to Andrew from their time together at Mossley, Seb was a standout performer during his spell at the club. In just two seasons, he found the net an impressive 41 times, form which attracted interest from a number of Irish League clubs.

A technically gifted player with an eye for goal and plenty of attacking quality, Seb will be a fantastic addition to the squad as preparations continue for the upcoming season.

Everyone at Ballynure would like to welcome Seb to the club and wish him every success in red and white.

On Saturday night, our 3 squads had their annual Awards night and dinner. This turned out to be a great night with a few sore heads the next day!

The awards went to -

1st Team:

Players player of the year - Reece Duff

Managers player of the year - Reece Duff

Top goalscorer - Kyle Abernethy

Goal of season - Michael Duff

2nd Team:

Players Player of the year - Tyler Guy & David Trimble

Managers player of the year - Tyler Guy

🔴⚪️ COWAN JOINS BALLYNURE 🔴⚪️

Ballynure Old Boys FC are delighted to welcome Jason Cowan to the club ahead of the new season.

The 27-year-old Ballyclare native joins from Ballyclare North End and previously featured for 3rd Ballyclare for a number of seasons.

A commanding presence between the posts, Jason brings further quality and competition to our goalkeeping department as we continue to strengthen for the season ahead.

Michael and Andrew are delighted to get Jason on board and look forward to seeing him in action at Parkview during pre season.

🔴⚪️ COULTER ARRIVES 🔴⚪️

Michael and Andrew are delighted to bring Jonny Coulter to Parkview ahead of the new season.

The versatile right-sided player arrives after finishing last season as Mossley FC's top goalscorer and is capable of operating at both right-back and right midfield.

At just 27 years of age, Jonny has plenty of football ahead of him and with a number of clubs interested in securing his signature, we're delighted to get him over the line.

A local lad who lives only a stone's throw from Parkview, Jonny is another superb addition as we continue to strengthen for the season ahead and another massive coup for the club.

🔴⚪️ WORTHINGTON SIGNS 🔴⚪️

Ballynure Old Boys FC are delighted to welcome Ryan Worthington to the club ahead of the new season.

The 25-year-old Antrim native joins after two seasons with Mossley and brings plenty of quality, pace and experience to the squad. A rapid winger who can also operate through the middle, Ryan previously featured for PSNI in the PIL and adds further strength to our attacking options this season.

Ryans arrival is another major addition for the club as Michael & Andrew continue to rebuild and prepare for the season ahead.

We look forward to seeing Ryan in red and white and wish him every success at Parkview.

Ballynure Old Boys FC are delighted to welcome Isaiah Close back to the club.

The 25-year-old centre midfielder returns from 3rd Ballyclare having previously made 64 appearances during his first spell at the Nure. A well-respected figure around the club, Isaiah left a lasting impression with his energy, commitment and quality in midfield.

An excellent player who knows what the club is all about, Isaiah will be a superb addition to the squad as we continue preparations for the new season.

Ballynure Old Boys FC are delighted to welcome Ross Davidson back to the club.

A commanding centre-back, Ross is no stranger to Michael and Andrew from his previous spell at Ballynure and is a player they know well both on and off the pitch.

After taking a year out of the game due to work and family commitments, Ross is eager to pull the boots back on and get going again. The 31-year-old was a key figure in Mossley's promotion-winning side from NAFL 1A, producing a series of outstanding performances at the heart of the defence.

Ross brings experience, leadership and quality to the squad and is a massive addition as preparations continue for the new season.

Ballynure OB are delighted to welcome Chris Steele to the club ahead of the new season.

Chris joins from Islandmagee and brings a wealth of experience and proven goalscoring pedigree, having found the net just shy of 200 times across various levels of amateur football over the past six seasons.

A natural front man with an eye for goal, Chris' quality, experience and know-how will be a huge asset to the squad as we continue to strengthen ahead of the new campaign.

🔴⚪️ NEW SIGNING 🔴⚪️

Ballynure OB are pleased to announce the signing of Dylan Burns ahead of the new season.

For Dylan, it's a club that holds plenty of memories, having grown up watching his dad Ronnie represent and later manage the club.

Dylan has a long-standing relationship with the management team, having played for Michael Duff from the age of four at Ballyclare Colts before spending last season under his dad's & Andrew's guidance at Mossley FC.

A direct and exciting player, Dylan can operate on the left hand side of midfield or through the middle as a number 9.
Blessed with pace and a keen eye for goal, he adds quality, energy and attacking threat to the squad as we continue to strengthen and rebuild for the season ahead.

Everyone at Ballynure looks forward to welcoming Dylan to the club and wishes him every success during his time with us.
