I'm delighted to announce the next Wild Kin gathering, taking place on Sunday 5th July, 9.30am–1.30pm, on the South Downs near Ditchling.
Who is Wild Kin for?
This gathering may be for you if:
🌿 You sense there is more to being in nature than simply spending time outdoors.
🌿 You are curious about your relationship with the more-than-human world.
🌿 You spend much of your life thinking, planning or problem-solving and would like more space for sensing, feeling and noticing.
🌿 You are interested in embodied ways of knowing.
🌿 You are drawn to questions more than answers.
🌿 You are curious about what happens when you let go of having a destination and follow what calls your attention instead.
🌿 You enjoy wandering more than arriving.
🌿 You value reflection, curiosity and meaningful conversation.
🌿 You are interested in exploring yourself not in isolation, but as part of a living, interconnected world.
🌿 You are willing to experiment with not knowing.
Wild Kin is a small-group gathering on the South Downs, drawing on eco-psychology, embodied awareness and nature-based practice.
Together we'll walk, pause, listen, wander, notice and follow.
Through a series of invitations, we'll explore what becomes possible when we shift from doing and knowing towards sensing, relating and experiencing.
There is no right way to do it. No experience required. Just curiosity.
A little about me...
I'm Vikki Harris, a Humanistic Psychotherapist, bodyworker and movement practitioner.
My path into this work began through dance and movement, where I became fascinated by the relationship between body, mind and the stories we carry. Over time, that curiosity led me into psychotherapy and a deeper exploration of how growth happen through relationship with ourselves, with others, and with the living world around us.
In Wild Kin, I don't see myself as the teacher.
My role is to offer invitations, hold the space, and act as a guide and witness to your experience.
The teachers are the land, the body, and the more-than-human world itself.
