Mummers Plays are seasonal folk plays performed by a cast known as mummers. Ditchling Mummers have performed in Ditchling on Boxing Day for over 30 years.

They perform a Sussex play to a large audience with donations to St Peter & St James Hospice.

Thanks to everyone that supported our Christmas 2024 performances. Our collections total just under £2k for St Peter & St James Hospice, which is fabulous!

Our thanks also to Ditchling Morris, Ditchling Museum of Art + Craft, Hassocks Hotel, White Horse Inn Ditchling, Harvey's Brewery, and Downlands Brewery for helping make the events such a success. Best wishes for 2025 - we’ll be back at Christmas! 😊

Our first performance of the 2023 Mummers Play is at the Hassocks Hotel on Saturday 16 December at midday. Join us for the play and dancing with Ditchling Morris. We will be collecting for St Peter & St James Hospice as usual, if anyone has any spare pennies! 🎄⛄️🎅😁
