Diss vs Rossi North Walsham today at Heywood Sports & Fitness in the Norfolk Cup! Action starts at 2pm and should be a cracker! The Heywood are Norfolk Champions which is an awesome achievement and now 3 good ol’ Diss boys, Thomas Hunt, James Ramm and myself are hoping to add the Super Cup! 💪🏼💪🏼🏆🏆

So the most talked about game of football in the country today has finished in victory for who won 2-1 against . Diss scorers were Tubby who slotted a lovely right foot finish in the 1st half, Bennett from the spot in the 2nd half. Waveney pulled 1 back late on.

Back at home today against Beccles Caxton FC. A fast start from the visitors saw them take a 2 goal lead but Diss hung in there a got a goal back before halftime with a smart kick from Ryan Welsh in goal that sent Dan West free down the right to cut in and thump the ball home from the edge of the area. After the break and the introduction of Tom Bobbins (Man of the match) in midfield the game changed. Beccles though we’re resilient and stood up well to the pressure. Until Diss right Back Stewart Cole’s precise shot and goal from 30yards levelled the game. Beccles then committed more players forward to try and win all 3 points back the space at the back was exploited by Dan West slotted home to secure Diss Vets first win of the season.
A great battling performance, not pretty but good strong and never say die! Well done Diss!
