🥾 41 MILES. 18 HOURS. ONE NIGHT. ZERO SENSE. 🥾
This weekend a hardy crew of our U14 parents took on the legendary Lyke Wake Walk across the North York Moors — setting off at 7pm Friday and marching straight through the night to raise funds for the lads' 2027 Tour.
The damage:

🚶 41 miles in 18 hours

👣 94,000 steps

⛰️ 6,500 ft of climbing

🔥 4,700 calories burned each
They put their bodies through the wringer so the boys can have the tour of a lifetime. Absolute legends, every one of them. 👏

Congratulations to U10s on such a successful season! Their presentation evening was one to be remembered and a wonderful celebration of their achievements throughout this season.

As the season draws to a close, planning and fundraising for next season has already begun for Dinnington U13’s — and stepping up to the challenge is the mighty Parent Pack. 😄

Six brave parents. One 42-mile trek across the wilds of the North York Moors. A mission to keep feet mostly intact, snack supplies protected, and dignity somewhere behind us on the moors.

We’re taking on the legendary Lyke Wake Walk, from Scarth Wood Moor to Ravenscar, all within 24 hours — because apparently “let’s just stay on the sofa” wasn’t inspirational enough.

Every step, every hill, every blister and every questionable 4am selfie is for a team we believe in: Dinnington U13’s.

So grab your virtual pom-poms, cheer us on, share the page, or donate what you can. Big or small, it all helps the lads get ready for next season.
